A must have to keep on hand for when your camper toilet decides to break. We have bought 2 and they’re great. easy to install but may recommend YouTube videos for directions over the instructions.

Buy the rebuild kit from original OEM, Thetford!!! This low priced kit is junk!!! Since install I've had nothing but issues with this valve, it sticks every time we flush causing the ball not to seal properly resulting in not being able to maintain a water seal in the bowl.

My Thetford toilet had sprung a leak. Ordered this kit to r/r the bad seal. Installation was easy and that stopped my leak.Side note Getting the foot lever reinstalled was a whole completely project in its self. The rebuild kit was reasonable compared to replacing the whole toilet.

All this was leaking in my old toilet so i took it out cleaned everything and properly installed these parts and then it gushed water out instead of leaking a little bit so i actually had to reinstall the old leaking parts just to get by and i know i cant return this because i installed it and its for a toilet so buyer beware it fits but WILL NOT WORK AT ALL i ended up having to buy a whole new toilet it was extremely frustrating. I wanted to take pictures but the same time was so mad and didnt want to deak with taking off sewage covered gloves for the sake of a review so trust me when i tell you i took the time to actually make a review because i was that upset that this doesent work.

Okay so after scouring the internet for the issue this was what was needed. My toilet would continue to run even when foot pedal was in the closed position. The cap and small spring I believe were the issue.Now the Large O ring that goes around the rear part of the pedal assembly is too large. So I kept the original O ring that was actually in great condition and fit it back on the new plastic. After resealing that assembly all back together it had a tight suction and you could tell it was functional.That last part Is pivotal for putting the foot pedal back on the toilet! If it isn’t seated correctly it will not stay on and you’ll be fighting the spring.So to recap the parts featured here will work fine. Just keep your old O ring or buy a new one at your local hardware store. I have seen the size is 12 in other comments just for reference (not sure if that’s the case)
