I recommend to use the OEM Dometic brand, I used a few different knock off's due to my work, I do maintenance for washroom rentals, the black cap with the two screws will warped and break the shaft from the ball valve if it is one made of plastic, so far I got two that broke recently until figured why, I now start to pull some out and every single one are WARPED, I then checked the Dometic one's even old broken spring one's, Not even one was warped.So far all the ones with security screws (where the black cap) are the Dometic brand, I got some from Ali same problem but cheaper

I ordered this part to fix my camper toilet and when it was installed, and everything was put back together, I turned the water on to my camper and water gushed out of the part. It was broken when I got it.

The spring return does not completely close the drain, "drain closer and water shut off". The foot pedal hangs up and the water continues to flow. Finally, the spring was released from its fixed position. Not able to reassemble. Unacebable.

Spring cartridge that keeps the foot pedal in place and the drop-ball closed. One of the most important parts in my experience, and one it will really annoy you to wait for when the spring inside eventually gets "fatigued" and give up/break. You then have to open/close the gates manually.But they typically last for years, and this one being a perfect looking match I expect it will too.NOTICE: that the product statement about this having a black endcap is NOT a fashion statement. Especially since it will be covered up with the water valve anyway.The spring cartridge with a WHITE end cap may on product pages look about the same, but they are NOT a match. Do not fit the same model toilets. (Don't ask me how I know. :-) )Highly recommended. Get two, so you always carry a spare.
