This olive oil dispenser is the best design I've ever used. Really like the simplicity. It is elegant and it's made from borosilicate glass (aka Pyrex) which makes it more durable than other glass dispensers.

We purchased this to replace an aceitera that we purchased in Spain, many years ago. Our original was thicker glass and had a handle and a traditional spout with a cork top. Overtime the cork has disintegrated, and finally the glass broke. In searching for a new oil dispenser I wanted to replace the original and found this one. I love the quality and design. The spout stays in place. There is also the benefit of oil dispensing a little more slowly. This offers me more control. If I need a lot of oil, I can always remove the top. The spout stays in place. I was also very much impressed by the packaging for the side. For the price, the value is exceptional.

I use this to dispense olive oil and keep it next to my range. It’s really beautiful and reminds me of hand blown glassware. However, it appears fragile, so I keep it away from my husband LOL. Anyway, the fritted stopper stays in place when pouring while any excess oil drains back into the dispenser

I thought these would be decorative, if nothing else. So I started with the small one and filled it with sunflower oil. Well that worked so well that I bought a larger one for olive oil too. What isn't obvious is that there's a small air channel down the side of the ground glass fitting of the spout to the bottle. So when you are pouring oil it doesn't chug, and it just streams out smoothly. When you stand the bottle up again there's always going to be a tiny amount of oil that runs down the outside of the spout. On other bottles that ends up eventually running down the side and making the whole thing greasy. On these it just gets collected by the flared mouth of the bottle and I suppose it eventually drains back through the air passage. Either way the outside stays clean and dry and there's no apparent buildup. Excellent product.

This is such a good piece of industrial design it deserves to be put in a museum. There are some common problems with these kind of oil dispensers, for example, many of them don't have a bigger opening so you have to use an additional funnel to add more oils, and the ones that use screw caps could get stuck after a while because oil gets into small crevasses and dry up over time (looking at you OXO Good Grip). This oil dispenser solves both problem with a downright genius solution, it has a wide collar opening with frosted glass surfaces that uses natural friction to hold the pour spout in place. It may looks questionable in theory, but in practice the pour spout will never fall off when you use the dispenser normally, even if you hold it upside down and shake it all over the place, but it will come right off when you simply use fingers to take the sprout off. The sprout will never stuck and you never need funnel to add oil, it satisfies all the practical needs while looking elegant and simple, literal perfection.

I got the 18 oz dispenser. It's a really besutiful addition to the kitchen and used for dispensing cooking oil and quite elegant. However, it is not made of very thick glass and actually on the fragile side. The first one I got, about 1 month ago, arrived and packaged fine and as a matter of fact still in use today as I have a gentle hand. My daughter loved it so much that I ordered her one. Truth be told, when it arrived the removable spout was broken. Packaged well but broken. I immediately returned it and was rewarded with a very quick response. Sadly when the replacement arrived, the body of the oil container had a hairline crack around the neck area. I am currently in the process of exchanging it as well. Ah, how do you mend a broken heart? With great customer service, that's how. Yet we must remember the golden rule. THREE STRIKES and your out!!! Alas, I anticipate that my queen will arrive in one piece and sound of mind for she indeed is beautiful and feels natural in the hand.
