Out of all the pet brushes I have bought I love this one . It sprays a light mist to keep hair from flying and a button to release all the hair. My cat is very finicky but loved this brush and did not mind the mist at all. She now comes up every night for me to brush her. It is truly amazing, now I don't look like a fur ball when we get through grooming . Is also made well. Thank you.

So, I initially gave this item a 5 star review. It works very well and does exactly what it says it does, it's easy to clean the hair away and it does collect lose hair very well. As far as the item itself goes it does what it says, works, well and is well made... I am redoing my review and giving it three stars for other reasons.I used this brush on my cat recently we have dry winter air and his fur was dry. It worked like a charm, however a couple days later he began sneezing. At first I didn't think a lot about, again - dry winter air. Then a couple days after that he began vomiting and not eating or drinking, we thought at first he may have a hair ball or even worse a blockage. It was the weekend we contacted our vet, were given directions of when to see the emergency vet and a promise of a work in the first day they were open. We were able to manage the symptoms until we got him in to OUR vet.The vet puts his stethoscope to him and looks and said nope, not his stomach "his lungs sound like crap".X-rays to confirm, antibiotic shot, steroid shot, subcutaneous fluids, and home saline nebulizers (all under VET directions) and we are just now 50% better. While doing one of the nebulizer treatments - it dawned on me it is the same mist this brush puts off, I began searching the internet and MANY people have had their animals get very sick using ANY BRUSH like this. Any chemical in the water, or no rinse soap as the directions suggest, or goodness forbid the tank develops mold or mildew- can be misted and inhaled into the animals lungs. I can't PROVE this was the cause, but the timing was too close for comfort for me. I trashed mine, and will be using a pet safe wet wipe and regular cat brush from now on...I am not blaming the company by ANY means the brush does exactly what it says it does and is well made it isn't THEIR brush that is the issue, its just the way the brush works in general. I think any brush that works this way would have done the same thing.

Very thankful for this little thing. It made it possible for me to groom my very grumpy Maine Coon cat. We're done in a matter of minutes. He's not a big fan but it's cut way down on the stress of brushing and cleaning.

My Bella absolutely hates water. Even a drop landing on her sends her running. When I first attempted this brush with the fine mist, she ran and hid, Although she loves to be brushed, every day.Little by little I’d push the button for the mist, in the middle of a daily brushing. She now looks forward to the mist brushing. I’ve added no rinse, diluted, cat shampoo and she not only loves being brushed but smells fresh…thumbs up for this product.I’ve been using it for a month and we both love it. It only needed to be charged once all month. Btw, kitty #2 has always run from a brush. He was a feral and afraid of everything. However, this brush he accepts, although, not the mist….yet! The only thing that’s a small issue, is that the button to release the cat hair doesn’t push the hair beyond the bristle tips. So, especially with damp hair it takes a little effort. However, it is a great invention.

I bought this for my cat to give to her “Daddy” for Father’s Day. He loves gadgets and I thought he would find this momentarily entertaining. The surprise was on me! My cat loves being brushed with this! She was wary of the cool mist at first, but now she likes it, and you don’t need to keep the misting feature on the entire time. This really removes the undercoat better than anything else that I have used__handfuls!!! And she is not coughing up the dreaded hairballs! I can’t promote this enough!! It is inexpensive and it WORKS!!!!

My cat gets flaky skin and regular brushing seems to irritate the condition. He loves this steam brush although he would probably prefer a warm steam. I brush his fur backwards and slowly, allowing the mist to reach his skin. It removes a decent amount of loose fur and really seems to soothe his skin. He even likes breathing the mist and will close his eyes and move his face around in the steam. I wish I’d found this sooner because it’s much easier than trying to get any sort of oil ointment to penetrate his fur down to his skin. Wait until the brush dries before removing the fur or you’ll end up with a wet cat fur mess.
