they're normal thickness plastic. Good value for money. These do not have the metal tabs on the inside but I don't use them.

I have two order daughters I use to buy paper folders for and then I had my son and will never buy Paper folders again. Last the whole year without ripping or getting destroyed by your elementary school kids. Great vibrant folders.

I love how it comes in a pack rather than just individual I'm all about buying in bulk or packs if I can help it. Ease to use, I use them to keep vet records of my foster dogs in them. I love the color options currently using the blue for my new foster boy. Versatility wise you can use them for anything paper or maybe even use them for crafting? But great to keep papers organized. The material is fine and plastic. The sturdiness is a little thin and flimsy but it's a folder and it works out great I don't do anything rough with it anyways.
