I am new to trapping and watched several videos on how to sterilize newly purchased traps. In many of the videos, they used this product in a larger pot system. I purchased smaller pots and felt the kit would be adequate. After the dying process and melting all the wax cubes provided in a 12-quart pot, the melted level of wax would not cover a single Duke #4 coil spring trap. After realizing this, I looked back at the instructions, "wait there really wasn't any that spoke about this" I attempt tilting the hot pot to the side and that wasn't even enough. Perhaps provide some form of instruction stating each cube would provide this amount of liquid product and even better use certain size pot, just spitballing ideas. With all that being said the kit did provide a trap that was scent-free and rustproof. Lastly after using this product I did trap one possum and one beautiful female fox.
