Much cheaper than purchasing from Lowe’s. Looks great and easy to install!

Once installed they look great. Now with the ability to change the different lighting moods is great. Love these lights. Great buy.

Installed these on an old track in an unfinished basement "band room". Installation of bulbs can be a bit tricky and there is a slight crickle or cracking sound that makes me question the quality of material used for the bulb base. Getting the retaining clip in place to hold the bulb was difficult on the first one but after getting the hang of it I started to appreciate the overall design because it can actually make changing bulbs pretty easy Once you get the hang of it. You remove a retaining clip which allows the bulb and bulb base to come out from the light's housing. This allows you to insert a new bulb quite easily and then pull the wire back through the housing and put the retaining clip in place. Having the cord out the back also allows a huge range of motion virtually aiming it anywhere you'd like. I really like the industrial appearance and they work quite well. Very happy overall. Knocked the one star off due to the questionable material of the bulb base.

I liked these track lights for a hallway fixture. It brightened up the space and gave it a very modern feel. I also angled them so that it hit the art work on the wall, which made it feel and look like an art gallery. These were pretty easy to install, and be sure to get good quality bulbs alone with it.

These were much easier to aim than other track lights we have. Getting them in the track is kinda tricky, though. The whole outer plastic "shell" has to be pulled down to allow it to be rotated into the track. It's much easier to do two-handed. 2 of the lights fit a little loose into the track and I had to jiggle them to get them to come on. Once they were up, they worked fine. No bulbs are included which is noted in the ad, but at the price, the set should come with bulbs. The benefit is that you can pick whichever color temperature bulbs you want, and the bigger plus is that they're replaceable. Bulbs are held in by a metal ring type retainer. It seems to be fairly secure, and was easy to get it in the grooves. 4 extras were inluded in case one goes flying or would happen to break (which seems unlikely to happen). Only slightly noticeable when the lights are on. It's not a bad set, but it should really come with the bulbs.

This is a set of four additional H-type track lighting cans that can be used to expand an existing track lighting system. I used them to add some additional light to a dim kitchen, aimed at areas where I have trouble seeing what's going on clearly like the sink and stove.There are absolutely no instructions included with these, so I actually concluded they don't fit my system at first. When I was packing them up to send to e-waste recycling, I started fidgeting with one and eventually figured out how to install it - it's very different from the other H-type modules I've previously used, because you have to pull down on the entire base to install it. Normally, there's a spring loaded latch; this one's got the whole base spring loaded, which is problematic because if you're holding the unit by that base, the spring won't move and it will seem like it doesn't fit.The bigger issue is that the bulb retention system is ridiculously janky. There's just a loose socket sitting inside the fixture dangling by two wires. You're expected to put the bulb in this loose socket, shove the bulb into the fixture, then hold it in place by a flimsy squeezable piece of thin bent metal. (They do give you some extras for when you inevitably break these.) I found that the metal wasn't very secure, and worse, when it pops out it goes flying with extreme force across the room. I have no clue why they didn't just secure the base inside the fixture so you could insert and twist the bulbs like in every other fixture I've used... I suppose this design lets the bulb be recessed, but a screw on baffle on the end could have achieved the same thing. This probably saved a few nickels.Since there's no instructions, here's my guide on how to do the install:0. Turn off your light fixture.1. Remove a unit from the bubble wrap2. Carefully squeeze the two prongs of the wire retention clip and remove it from the unit. Set it aside.3. Pull the bulb socket out of the base. Insert a GU10 bulb, and while pushing it down, twist with your other hand about 30 degrees clockwise to lock it into place. Release to lock the bulb.4. Insert the bulb into the can. At this point, it will be loose. That's by design.5. Nestle the wire clip into the can. Squeeze the two end points to briefly make the clip smaller, and latch it into place.6. Using a flashlight, identify the side of your H-rail that has two electrical contacts. One side will have two rows and one will have one.7. Look at the top of the unit. Note that there is one side with two electrical contacts. You'll want to remember which side that is.8. Holding onto the can, pull back on the collar at the base of the unit, pulling the entire base closer to the bulb. This will retract the two latching clips in the base so you can place the bulb flush against your track.9. Insert the unit into your track rotated so the electrical contacts run along the length of the track.10. Rotate the unit 90 degrees. Rotate it in the correct direction so the two electrical contacts in the base mate with the side of the rail that has two contacts, too.11. Release the spring-loaded collar to latch the light into the base.12. Turn the fixture back on.

Unfortunately an otherwise great light fixture is ruined from to shallow a groove for the retaining ring to stay in place. The result is a spring loaded ejected ring with a dangling, hot bulb.I don’t leave many reviews but I advise looking at another product.

I've been using this design of track light fitting for 10+ years (before Amazon stocked this style) and those offered here are cheaper than I've purchased elsewhere and the quality is similar or better. At last count, I had 45 of these fittings (hallway, living room & bedrooms). That large number of purchases speaks louder than any words that I could write here. They're unobtrusive and directional, meaning that you can choose to highlight pictures or architectural details or simply splash the light over a wall or ceiling which results in a gentle, non-blinding indirect light. This design is WAY better than designs that come sealed with a sealed LED bulb as you're not forced to buy a new light fitting when changing the bulb, which you may want to do if you decide on a bulb with a different k rating or lumens rating .
