There are more LEDs in this than the OEM version that came with the RV. This set ( I got 4) is brighter than than the OEM version as well. To put in perspective: When using the dimmer, and setting the brightness at about 50% they match the brightness of the original LED lights. So, yes, they are absolutely brighter. The dimmer feature is an upgrade to our existing equipment. Very nice to dim the light in the bathroom at night when you don't want to be shocked awake with bright lights. Yes, when you push and hold the on/off button it dims. If you turn it off and back on, it retains the last dimmer setting. It is also nice to have a bright light when you need it for makeup etc....This is a purchase that I am glad I made.

Our 3 year old GEO had all the “touch” lights replaced with push button lights except the 3 center ones. Yep 2 went out. Tired of dealing with the dealership we replaced them ourselves with these. We Loved the fact they were Very easy to install and also Love the dimmer ability we now have. Great product.

A couple of my lights in rv needed replacing. These worked well. However, I did not realize that my lights in the rv were a warm white light and these are a cool white.

the temperature you only press the lens button once to cycle through the 3 temperatures. This is an annoyance because I often shut various lights off at night. Therefore you have to press the button 4 times to completely cycle through. Other lights that I saw use a different mechanism where you press the button twice quickly to cycle the temperatures instead of once. This allows me to simply turn a light off and on by pressing once instead of 4 times.

WOW... !!! What a difference in light. installed one above the coffee maker and it was just... wowInstalled one above the stove immediately after. white day light 5K lighting instad of the dim yellowdim yellow above the bed is great but not above the work area. lol easy installtwist cover N pop it off 3 er 4 screws you will have to make sure of the voltage 12VOLT on these onlyif ya dont know just unplug the rv ac plug and see what still runs on battery power. My rv had a white wire (ground) and a wire with a color (positive) but a voltmeter will give the best result
