I had a customer request black emergency style lighting so I decided I would give this brand a try. When installing it both tabs broke off the bottom. I have installed hundreds of lights over the past 15 years and these tabs are normally brittle but nothing like this especially when brand new. I have never broke both tabs off the bottom of a new light. This light also does not have a quick disconnect. This makes any future battery changes a much bigger hassle because the wiring is directly connected to the board through the light into the wall box. Most lights all come with a quick disconnect so you can pull it down change the battery and put it back up easily.I just can't recommend this light to anyone with both tabs breaking and not being a quick disconnect. Very unfortunate, I have lots of customers requests black emergency lights and it's sad because the price is good on this one but I just can't recommend it.Packaging was good and it did come with a wire nuts and screws needed. It's a 3.6 volt battery which is good for this style light. Very easy to install other than the fact that doesn't have a disconnect and the tab is broke

Replaced a defective unit. Cost was very reasonable and installation took less than 5 mins
