Gymboss timers are made to keep your HIIT workouts efficient and effective.They can be set for two intervals (2 seconds to 99 minutes), and rounds or repeats up to 99 times.

Gymboss timers are perfect for Tabata workouts – set the intervals for 20 seconds and 10 seconds for 8 repeats. Run, bike, row, squat, lunge – pick your favorite – and go as hard as you can for the 20 seconds, rest for 10 seconds, and repeat 8 times. This is the ultimate HIIT routine. There are many different routines to do Tabata style, and the Gymboss is the perfect timer to get the job done.

Rest is important when weightlifting. Different rest times yield very different results and providing consistent rest allows you to reach goals and watch your progress. Not timing rest can result in workouts that may run much longer than planned.

Use Gymboss to time an exact rest period, such as 60 seconds, or whatever rest time you desire, between every set. Set the rest you desire and the beep and/or vibration of the Gymboss lets you know when your rest is over. Or, set the repeating feature and complete a disciplined workout of 20 sets in 30 minutes with approximately 60 seconds rest between each set, that’s a 30 minute workout every time!

First Gymboss stopped working shortly after purchased. Gymboss representative made me pay to have it shipped back to them in order for me to receive a working replacement. The second Gymboss stopped working after a couple months of use. I then had to pay for the second Gymboss to be shipped back to them in order to replace the second faulty Gymboss. The third Gymboss display stopped showing the numbers after a few months. Once again I have to pay for a third Gymboss that does not work for more than a couple months!!!!! I have paid more in small package shipping fees now than the original purchase price. Do yourself a favor and invest in a better brand than Gymboss you may pay more initially but you will save money in the long run. And hopefully you will have a functioning timer

Passt funktioniert, Piepen ist bisschen leise aber für meine Zwecke ausreichend. Glaub den Gym Bos+ kann man lauter stellen. Aber mir reicht der normale für meine Zwecke auch schon. Der Vibrationsalarm von dem Timer ist dafür um so stärker. Lässt sich schnell und einfach bedienen, durch halten der Tasten kann man im 10 Sekunden tackt springen und wenn man länger als ca. 3 min hält, dann springt die Zeit auch im Minuten tackt. Durch ei Fach short Cuts kann man auch im 5min takt die Zeit verstellen oder einfach auf 1 min zurück setzen. Sehr einfache Bedienung. Batterie ist im Lieferumfang nicht enthalten.

I bought this product for my son to help keep him on task at school. He said it helped but I wasn’t able to get a good idea of if it really did from his teacher or other staff because school closed for coronavirus. I didn’t think to use it while schooling at home. It’s easy to use and program. The instructions are clear and the vibrating feature is quiet enough not to disturb the class.

I really like this Gym Boss Interval Training device. The device attaches to your workout clothes with a clip, which stayed conveniently and securely in place. I used the timer for two intervals for a a run and walk combo and set for 50 repeats. The device worked perfectly and assisted me in my running schedule. I would definitely recommend!

Just bought my third. One died after several years of use. Always use the plastic cover if running in the elements. Use it for running, walking, treadmill, TRX and weights. When racing I attach mine to the strap handle of my Amphipod- nothing else on the wrist and no worries about staying hooked to my shorts.

Not as good as my old one, but may be a lower model. Invaluable for interval training without starting at clock! Third one I have owned and probably not the last (as I lost the last one and wore the first one out).

The best piece of equipment for combining walking and running, or any other form of interval. Easy to use. Just great. This is the same timer Jeff Galloway sells with his brand on it for timing walk breaks. Whether you buy from him or from here, it's one of those rare items that works exactly as it should. I bought a second as a back up.

Want a small, reliable, programmable interval timer? Gymboss has it! Small enough to keep on my waistband while working out, doesn't get in the way, set to either buzz or vibrate or both. Very good for presets used in Tabata training, fight sparring drills, or just a straight timer.
