I bought different brands of chalk to experiment and this one has been my least favorite. It is extremely hard and difficult to crush. It maybe what most people use it for but not as someone who uses it for ASMR.

The chalk I got feels very hard compared to the other block chalks I’ve used. It’s hard to break up and doesn’t crush to a powder like Metolius and Frank Endo do. Worse yet, this chalk doesn’t coat my hands. It feels like I need to keep chalking up over and over to get my hands coated like a single squeeze of the other brands. I’m not sure if all Asana blocks are like this or if I just got some old, stale chalk. Either way, I won’t be buying this again.UPDATE: Updated from 1 star to 2. Asana refunded me after seeing this review, so at least we know that they stand by their product.

These Gym Chalk Blocks were a great buy. They come with 8 packages inside a bigger box. I expected to receive a box with a powdery mess inside, but it was packaged very well and nothing was wasted. My daughter practices circus 5 days a week and these will last her ages. She likes that they help her grip without leaving a mess on her sleeves. The circus instructors appreciated the better quality chalk and asked where we bought it from. That was the seal of approval I had hoped for. I think you can't go wrong with this product.

This is great quality and well packaged (8 individually wrapped blocks inside of the larger box). It's pure magnesium carbonate with no extra bs. It's nice and grippy. I personally use this kind of chalk for playing disc golf. I'm sure it works great for climbing and gym use as well. This is a nice big box that will last me a long time! I would highly recommend it!

These are fine and reasonably priced. The individual packaging keeps opening up and pieces fall out of it while the spares are in storage.It's grainy and fine, but I do prefer the Magdust (Rúngne) chalk above anything else. It's magic dust for climbing

Bought for bouldering, does a good job with a good grip.Can be either used as chunks or broken into dirt.
