It is rot proof and unaffected by water, oil, gasoline, and most chemicals. Polypropylene floats yet it is twice as strong as manila. Our regular film polypropylene rope is made with a medium lay, allowing for easy splicing.

The rope itself was perfectly satisfactory both in length and strength. The problem was that it was not shipped on a spool. Once the binding straps were cut I ended up with 600 feet of tangles. It took, with no exaggeration, about 2 hours for 3 people to get the rope straightened out .
