I grind up leaves to a dust with my zero turn. Cheap masks don’t seal off. This one works and saves my sinuses. It’s comfortable and seals off well, rarely fogs glasses and adds no strain to breathing.

I got this mask to replace the 3M N100 that I've been using. Unfortunately none of the 3M disposable respirators seem to be made for medium/large faces - I'm constantly fiddling with them as they shift position while wearing (have tried N95, N99, and N100, same problem with all of them).By comparison the Elipse is a huge improvement. I bought the med/lg size and it fits very well, seals completely, doesn't shift in use.The only problem, and the reason for a 4 instead of 5 rating, is that the plastic construction causes condensation to gather inside the mask (I've been using it outdoors in 50 degree weather fwiw). On the plus side, it's super easy to dis-assemble and re-assemble the mask, which I do occasionally to clean and fully dry it. It's worth the trouble to get the comfort and filtering that the mask offers.

This mask is easy to put on/take off, easy to clean, and adjusts to my head size quickly. I used to have a lot of issues with allergy attacks and sinus problems from wood dust with paper or cloth masks. This mask gives me no issues. The paper filter replacements are easy to replace and can be cleaned and re-used a few times. I have pretty much zero issues with wood dust in my sinuses now.

This has been a great buy !! I needed a good respirator to wear in the wood shop , and I decided to buy this one. It works great !!I got tired of wearing the disposable masks that are ok if you are just using it for 10 minutes. I needed something I could wear for long periods of time and I needed it to be comfortable and not hurt the back of my head like the rubber bands on the disposable masks do. I decided to buy this mask based on its more compact design and also because I can replace the filtersI love my mask !!I have been using it now for a month or so and wanted to put it to the test before posting a review.I work with all sorts of hard and softwoods, and between the planer, table saw and thickness sanders going , it gets extremely dusty with sawdust even with the exhaust system on.I put this mask to the absolute test. Twice a year I blow out the shop to get all of the sawdust from all the machines and it is a dirty ass job !! There is so much saw dust in the air that the exhaust fans are doing everything they can just to keep up. In the past while wearing regular disposable masks, I get all sorts of sawdust in my nose and at time have even tasted the dust.Wearing my new mask , I got no sawdust at all in my nose . None whatsoever!!!The mask is comfortable , it fits me well even with my thick beard. I would recommend this mask.

The RESPIRATOR is Comapct, by design to fit under the welding HOOD. Its tight and compact like a Prius. But, it works. It fits under the welding HOODS easily. I'm Welding currently Galvanized Studs for Exterior Panels at Chester Hospital in PA. Welding Galvanized heavy gauge studs to Painted steel beams. See Picture.With this mask, I only can smell the filters. The image attached of the STOCK P100 Filter is after 3 days of working., Which is around 16 hours of actual welding stop and go. I'm attaching the panels to the building, at the floor. So that means i have to position my head in between the studs at the floor, with my head over wear i'm welding. Take care of your health., that Cancer is REAL!!!Sadly, its about 20 Welders on the Job-site, different trades, and I'm the only one with a Respirator. I plan on seeing my retirement checks with a clean bill of health.

i have been using the GVS SPR457 Elipse P100 Half Mask Respirator for about 2 months now. I am a welder and i also have asthma. i work in small shop making safes, welding for 8 hours a day 7 days a week can really put a toll on your body. you are constantly breathing in toxic fumes that you can clearly see the side effects of at the end of the day ie. black mucus in my nostrils and throat. this respirator worked perfectly for me because i needed something small and compact enough to fit under my welding hood but efficient enough to actually be worth wearing. i am constantly moving around going inside safes (some of which only my head fits) and i rarely even realize that i am wearing this respirator. it fits snug of your face and it is super comfortable. the respirator is never obtrusive and if need be easily removable with only one hand, you can pull the top strap and let it hang around your neck until it is needed again. best of all my sinuses are clean and clear and under controlpros:lightweight yet durableeasy to put on and removedoes not restrict breathingeasy to clean and change filterscompact design gives it great versatilitycons:on cold days or if working hard moisture can build up on inside requiring you to wipe it awaystraps do tend to get loose after a while, just make sure they are tightyour voice will get muffled especially in loud environments requiring you to pull on mask to be heard properlyoverall the versatility of the GVS SPR457 Elipse P100 Half Mask Respirator is unparalleled whether you need it for light duty home work or for more demanding daily work it will fit your needs. there to protect you when you need it and out of the way when you don't.
