Excellent support team. Kim on there support team went the extra mile to help me reinstall drawer spring and get it installed. This safe drawer is made and works well to secure my firearm. It provides me with quick access to a secured firearm. Hope it continues to work well.

Overall this vertical Gun safe is very good. This is my second Pineworld Biometric safe and so far they both have worked flawless. The fingerprint reader has been great. The manual buttons great. The features they put into this safe is more than the competition that cost more. Different volume setting, different lighting settings, etc. The areas that I wish they would improve upon is: 1 - a softer or slower drawer opening. The speed of the opening makes unnecessary noise. 2 - Mounting plate option? I mount to the side of a nightstand (Not under a table) so I wish there was a side plate option that didn't wrap over the top. I've scrapped my knuckles on the top of bracket. 3 - Interior foam width options? the foam cut out is designed for a double stack (like a Glock) but all of the CCW weapons are single stack so the gun fits a little loose. 4 - the market offers 3.5" and 2.5" wide vertical safes. This Pineworld a 3.5" side. becasue I have single stack guns I prefer the narrow 2.5" wide safe . That said. I purchased other 2.5" wide safes and returned them because their quality wasn't as good as the Pinworld safe

A great gun safe easy to change the battery and has many features. The finger print reader works great and reads from many directions.

This little PineWorld safe is pretty nice, I really have no significant complaints. If feels well built and sturdy, as most of these smaller safes do. This one has easy access to the batteries (I've seen them with the batteries inside the safe, which is also good, but a hassle), and a reasonable mounting bracket. Other units like this that I have tested in the past had fatal flaws, like not having the mounting bracket attach from the inside of the safe. This one doesn't have any apparent problems like that - the safe comes with a screw that is used from inside the safe to attach to the bracket. The draw fits a variety of hand guns and it opens and slides very smoothly when unlocked. The keypad is easy to use with raised keys, and the fingerprint reader (so far) seems to be reliable. The emergency keyhole is located in a strange place - the rear bottom of the safe. This shouldn't be an issue for most, but be aware that it limits your mounting options if you think you might need to use the physical key to access the contents of the safe. With the safe mounted close to the floor (or another surface), the keyhole may be inaccessible. And, with the safe properly mounted, you shouldn't be able to move the safe in order to access the keyhole without opening the safe to remove from mounting. Since the batteries and the emergency power port should both be accessible in most situations, I think the manufacturer has provided plenty of options here. It just may take a little planning regarding placement. If I had any complaints, it would be that the menu system for adding users and whatnot requires a diagram (in the manual) for use. I wish that was a little more straight forward. But that is a small ding - I typically set these things up once and file the manual away almost never to be used again. All in all, I think this is a really nice offering and is worth considering if you are looking for this style of safe.

we have always kept our pistols in a full-sized gun safe. Accessing them in the event of a home intrusion would be impossible. We did not want to keep a gun in our nightstands mainly because of the risk of theft or accidental discharge. So, with crime rates soaring over the last 3 or 4 years, we wanted to look for good and safe options to keep a pistol close, should the worst ever happen? We ordered this safe and were really not quite sure of what to expect. The makers Amazon webpage did a great job to going through all the features and it was this information that helped us place our order. So, definitely read that information. When this arrived, we both thought, Holy moly, this pistol safe is weighty and its certainly looked like it was built with security and strength in mind. The most important feature for use was the biometric access for rapid access.. We liked the interior light too - that was nice touch so that you do final checks, before use.It would have been nice if there had been an option for a USB charged safe. This way you could plug in the lead without have to open and access the safe and replace expensive batteries. The only thing that we did differntly, is that we used an industrial grade of Velcro to attach the safe to the side of my nightstand. The easy-peel off adhesive means that we do not damage our furtniture. This was the other main reason that we held back on a hand gun safe in our bedroom - no way to attach it.Some may argue that the thief or child could just simply rip the safe off of the side of the cabinet. I guess they could, IF they knew just how it was fixed. But this stuff really holds it fast and you really have to know how to get this stuff apart to get it to break free.We love this safe. It has allowed us to now sleep at night with peace of mind, that we now at least have some kind of chance of defending our home, should that remote situation occur.Top marks for this excellent safe!
