I was destined to travel to Japan for nine days with only a carry-on and a personal backpack. Success! In my younger years, I did some wilderness backpacking, and I used many of those same tactics in my travel to the Land of the Rising Sun. Back in the day, we'd cut the handle off the toothbrush to make it lighter and smaller. It was a pain to use, but it worked. This is the same concept, except you can unfold it and voila, you have a full-sized toothbrush.

I recently used this to refresh on a long flight and it was perfect. No tops or cases to drop because this toothbrush folds. When it's unfolded, your holding a full size toothbrush.

I bought a couple of these travel toothbrushes for a recent trip. They fold up nicely and work really well. They fold open and snap in place, very sturdy for a week long vacation!

The GUM Folding Travel Toothbrush is a fantastic solution for maintaining oral hygiene on the go. This is the world's best travel toothbrush design. I don't know how someone could improve upon this. The brush folds into it's own handle and the handle closes up as well. When you open it, the handle closes up too. It's vented so it'll dry out. The bristles are the perfect strength, I'd call it medium stiffness, it's just right. There needs to be an awards ceremony for when people come up with a simple, genius, good quality design. I love this thing.

I have been buying Gum brand travel toothbrushes for years at local drugstore & big box stores. Then, I couldn’t find them for the last 4 yrs. Good thing I bought 2 extra when I could. They always cost a little more than other brand name & store brand travel toothbrushes. But they are worth paying a little extra. The Gum travel toothbrush uniquely folds & unfolds for portability. The plastic & folding joints are sturdy. The bristles are between soft & medium but not too stiff - they don’t fall out, bend over after one use, or when inserting in the holding space. Toothbrush folds compactly to about 1/2 the size of an adult toothbrush. It clicks quietly into place & holds in place open or closed. Case keeps the brush neat & clean for the journey. I’m so glad to find these again!

This toothbrush has some great features for a travel toothbrush. The three-piece construction means the entire top half is covered when closed, and there are ventilation holes to help the bristles dry. It is sturdy and doesn't wobble during use. Although they are labeled as soft bristles they seem more like medium, but they are only used occasionally so that shouldn't be a problem. (I use a Sonicare at home and sometimes travel with it.) The back of the brush head is also a tongue scraper. The 2-pk contains two different colors which is nice if sharing.The price for one 2-pk is all over the place, though. Anywhere from $5 to almost $10, sometimes fluctuating day to day. ?? Decent value if you order them on the right day.

登山・キャンプ用に購入しました。いつもは自宅から愛用の電動歯ブラシを持参するのですが、パッキングが面倒なので外出用の専用にするべく本品を購入しました。コンパクトに畳めて嵩張らないし、何より衛生的です。また、特筆すべきはその磨き心地です。毛足は柔らかめなのですが、コシがあって大変磨きやすく肌触り？が良いのです。以後、旅行用はこの歯ブラシしか買わないと思うくらい気に入りました。またよくある携行用の歯ブラシと異なりグリップが普通の歯ブラシ並みに大きく、エルゴミクス形状によりなんなら普通の歯ブラシよりも握りやすいくらいです。携行用の歯ブラシはこれを買っておけば間違いありません。

Im not sure about the import fees but the same item on Amazon.com is $3 that is about 250 but here its sold at 750. This is a normal toothbrush with a convenient cover. Best for travel purpose, may be the charge is for the idea and not the brush.

These things are so slick and sanitary. They are good for home use and travel. They fold up neatly into a nice compact unit. Your toothbrush is protected from the outside, yet the enclosure has air holes so it is still able to breath and dry out. Why aren't ALL toothbrushes designed like this? They really save space in the bathroom as well.Would be sweet if you could insert a little miniature tube of toothpaste into the handle or something, like a cartridge. Then just squeeze a button and it would ooze paste into your bristles. That would make it the ultimate all in one travel toothbrush. If the company sees my idea and uses it, don't forget about me! :D
