I find this to be ok. It serves its purpose to the point of holding the guitar. but comfort is not the best.

I was always having to use a foot prop when playing my Martin D-18,, until now. This really helps me toposition the guitar for comfort. It is built really well and love that it is adjustable. I would recommend getting one for your sit down jams.

I had been jamming my guitar into my right thigh without realizing I was injuring myself. Classicalposition. The brace adheres to the guitar, is comfortable, keeping both feet flat and relaxed on the floor without a foot stool. Very pleased.

Update: I love this guitar support so much that I bought a second one for a GS mini that doesn’t have a smooth finish. In order for the suction cups to stick, I placed smooth stickers where I wanted to attach the support. They did the trick - as long as the stickers are wider than the suction cups, of course.Original review:This guitar support has been working better than my foot stool, which was causing some back discomfort. It’s well built and sturdier than I expected. It comes well packed in a nice box and includes spares for each of the three suction cups.My guitar has a glossy finish, so the suction cups attach very well. On the instructions, it shows this bracket resting on the left thigh. I have a Taylor Grand Auditorium, which is relatively large, so I set and adjusted this bracket for it to rest on my right thigh instead. This change (having the fretboard closer to me for fingerstyle) has made it more comfortable for playing purposes and for my back. We’ll see how long it will last, but I’ve been using it extensively for five days, and it’s holding up very well. I’m very happy with it.

Absolutely fantastic gadget for any acoustic guitars, it really helps with your hand positioning and moving between chords. It helps with balance and support so your hands can be lighter and more free for faster chord change and playing 👍 i fully 💯 recommend this for any stage of guitar player you are, beginner, intermediate or advanced, it's the best guitar gadget I've invested in myself anyway 😀 get it, it's a must and trust me you'll see, fantastic product, it's ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me, Ian S.Wales U.K 👍😊💯

I bought this guitar support with 4 other different types. By far this was the best of the 5 as it’s the one I kept. It’s so very well made and so versatile it will work with any style of guitar. As you can see in the picture, I have a classical guitar with a cutout and this support fits. Some of the others didn’t work with my guitar. Plus their quality and packaging were suspect. The design, materials and workmanship far outweigh the others. The only opportunity for improvement I’ll share is that they add an option to give the leg support piece some extra texture to prevent the guitar from sliding. Now, I am just starting to retry playing classical with the guitar resting on my left thigh (more traditional), and I’m sure my lack of experience causes me to fight the position and as I played the guitar would slide along my leg. So, I bought some 3M sidewalk non-slip tape (peel and stick to side walk so the rough side is up; figured if it sticks to concrete…) and trimmed it to shape to fit then thigh support and works like a charm (see first picture). As long as I don’t play in my favorite pair of Speedo’s the rough texture will not be a problem. I think the manufacturer should offer this as an option.I don’t believe you will regret buying this product

I ordered this posture tool with both a guitar and a Syrian oud in mind. The directions say that it will stick to any guitar regardless of finish but this is NOT true. If your guitar has a thick lacquer coating then it will likely stick, but my Taylor AD14 has a very thin, non-glossy coating on the sides and it did NOT stick, even with the addition of a little water and then a little vaseline. It just slid and then fell off. Even if it sticks for a little while, with the crazy flexibility of all the arms on this one, it will make it unstable while playing. However, I did then try it on my Oud, which has a very heavy lacquer coating on the back. I put a little vaseline on it and it has stuck in the same place for a month now. Absolutely great for oud players since it both elevates and stabilizes the Oud, so it’s easier to hold on to and play. A MUST for Oud players!!!

This is a very clever design and very nicely constructed. Its very solid when attached. If you are having trouble getting your playing position just right, this is worth a try. It will work for a normal classical or acoustic guitar. It won't work for a solid body electric as is without some kind of little cradle at the big sucker end. For a hollow body jazz guitar it works for the deeper body guitars, but for the narrow body its a bit more tricky. The end with two suckers can be turned 90 degrees so that's not a problem. The big sucker is 2.5 inches, so you really need a guitar body that is 2.75 inches or more for secure attachment. Now, if they had put the dual suckers both ends, it would probably fit much thinner guitars.I use it to prevent repetitive stress caused by being in the same playing position for long periods.
