I’m no musician, just a beginner needing new strings in a cheaper guitar with original crappy strings that won’t stay in tune. This tool is a big time (and wrist) saver. Good YouTube videos on replacing strings and they use tool. So inexpensive that I thought ‘why not’. Glad to have since it does make life easier, also removing bridge pins.

Nice tool! The pin puller is thin enough and tapered perfectly to pull the pin and does not leave a mark. The cutter cut the string with little effort, just as expected. The winder worked as described.Nice compact design.

***UPDATED REVIEW***The seller of this item contacted me of their own accord to explain how this particular winder shows up in the search for an ukulele string winder. It is not their intent and a result of an Amazon shortcoming. They offered and made good on a refund even outside of the refund time period. They did not have to do this and in my opinion illustrates that this is a seller of high integrity that is focused on customer satisfaction. I tip my hat to them and knowing this would never hesitate to buy from them in the future. Upgrading my review to 5 stars for their effort on service. Still, don’t buy this to wind uke strings (the seller would agree).—————The seller of this string tool makes sure that it shows up prominently in searches for a ukulele string winder. They pay for this placement. It does not work on ukelele. Which is unfortunate since I’m outside the return window. I’m stuck with it. Other than that it’s probably fine if you have guitar sized tuners. But it’s pretty cheaply-made plastic unlike some other winders. Including the one I eventually bought that I really like. Good luck.
