I used the "Tuning key mounting screws". One of the heads snapped off. Another is stripped so bad I still haven't been able to get it out. It destroyed my $300 telecaster neck. I purchased the black screw kit for reference. This could be part of the problem. The screw heads start to melt like butter if there is any resistance what so ever. Getting them in is half the battle. Good luck if you need to take them out.

I recently picked up this Guitar Screws Kit, and I’m really impressed! The screws are made from 304 stainless steel, so they’re super durable and resistant to rust, which is perfect for keeping my guitars in great shape. The black coating also looks really sharp and blends perfectly with the hardware on my Fender and Gibson guitars. What I love most is how versatile this kit is. With sizes like #2, #3, #4, #6, and #8, it had exactly what I needed for a bunch of different parts—pickguards, neck plates, tuners, pickups, truss rod covers, bridges, and even the selector switch. Every screw fit like a charm and made my guitars feel like new again.Another thing I appreciated is how well-organized the kit is. It was easy to find the right size without any hassle, which made the whole repair process smoother. If you’re someone who likes to maintain or repair your own guitars, this kit is an absolute lifesaver. Great quality, super convenient, and totally worth it!

This set has everything I needed for my guitar build. Screws are good quality and everything is right in one spot. Everything is labeled well, so there's no guessing if you're using the right screw. Nice addition to the tool kit!
