Well made and comfortable for working in water and mud. The sole will however start to wear if you're walking constantly on a hard surface such as concrete.

The most important qualities in rubberized/ neoprene farm boots are extended wear comfort, waterproofness, and durability. Seasonal warmth and coolness are also major pluses.I have previously purchased Muck boots because of their comfort, although they are not cheap. In less than one year of use, I have punctured the soles, making them useless for irrigation chores. I don't blame the boots, but I have no desire to replace them with equally high-cost boots if this happens regularly. The Guide Gear boot is a comparable rubber-neoprene boot but is one-third the cost of the Muck. It appears to be a good boot, but is it up to the challenge? The foot area is a harder rubber, but it is not uncomfortable. It may be warmer in summer. The insole seems okay, but I purchased separate cushioned inserts for a few dollars, and now this boot is quite comfy.I suspect this boot will resist punctures as well as the Muck - but it will be much cheaper to replace.

For the price these boots are very comfortable and the size is perfect fit. I were these boots almost all day at least 10 hours a day if not more and they get there beating but you can’t beat the price for the great quality and comfort. I would recommend to save money on the name brand and you can get about 5 pairs for the price of the expensive ones and they hold up just as long if not longer

I have bought these boots a couple times. They keep my feet warm if it’s not really cold and water proof. I’ve walked through the creek a few times. Pretty comfortable to walk in. There’s an insole that comes loose after a while and folds up or comes out every time I take my foot out, that’s mildly annoying.

I had read a review saying these are Cheaply Made, I beg to differ. First, the Packaging was way above cheap. I bought a 13, I wear a 12.5. Plus I wear Ortho's. I tried these on with and without the Ortho's. I decided that with the Ortho's it was to tight of a fit. But knowing that the water temp was around 40 or so, i decided to wear them with Insulated socks, The fit was snug and keep in in mind these are lined but it felt thin, They also almost came to my knees, with a soft comfortable fit. The reason I purchased these was that i am monitoring an Osprey Nest, to get to a decent vantage point, to get to that point, i must navigate a quarter mile of swamp, mostly ankle deep or so. I used these the other Day. I put on the boots, tucked my Slacks into the top, which created a very nice snug feeling around my calfs. The walk through the swamp was exceptional, the boots stayed solid on my feet, walking through some of the muddy spots, that would pull on your foot out of the boot, resulted in the boot staying on my feet, I spent a couple of hours, standing in ankle deep water, my feet were warm and dry. No, there is nothing "cheap" about these boots, I plan on using these in some fishing holes. I got and exceptional Value in this purchase and if your needs match mine, I would highly Recommend these boots.

I compared at least 6 different rain boots, mud boots and different sizes in some. They were sizes 9, 10, 11 etc. Depends on the manufacturer:For our purposes here I will compare size 10 in:1. Guide Gear, 2. Hisea, 3. Crocs AllCast, 4. Seac 6mm, 5. Servus Comfort tech, 6. LaCrosse Diamondback snake proofTo be fair, the LaCrosse is the most uncomfortable because it is a more rigid snake proof boot. Safety first, comfort last. That being said there is a better, more versatile and just as safe alternative. I'll try to remember to add it in here later.Back to the boots.I'm going to rank these for ease of scanning reviews [I know I read hundreds trying to find the items].All Size 10: In all of the boots, if you want to use your sole insert order one size up. Except Hisea seemed to fit size 10 with insert [i.e., it runs a size+ large].Most Comfortable: #1 thru 6. Guide Gear is #2. #1 in classic mud boot style so I gave it a 5 Star rating for mud boot.1. Seac 6mm dive boot: fits like a shoe and almost looks like one. Nice full rubber sole. Size 10 is snug on this 9.5-10 foot [that's with sock. Took the sock off and was perfect. Wet foot little difficult to get in but slide your fingers down your foot or use a plastic grocery bag over foot]. Can wear zipped on side for real water proof needs or unzipped walking/hiking around. Yes Hiking! These are great for Fossil hunting in shorts, wearing under BuzzOff pants, with wading overalls to stay dry in summer or winter [6mm], or walking on beaches with shells or while diving coral reefs. VERY versatile. ALL the other boots are not meant to be worn in water deeper than @12". The Crocs maybe 6". If you say you want boots to hunt/hike I'd say buy the Crack Shot Snake Guardz and wrap over these and your jeans [or bare even legs} MUCH more comfortable and versatile.2. Guide Gear: fits slightly looser than Seac. Very comfortable with over calf boot [calf area appears large enough to fit the guy on the insurance commercial with the calk implants] Fits like a true size 10. Plenty of room in toe. just a little pressure on top of the foot. If you're dead set on a traditional "mud boot" look these are a great choice. Plenty of room to stuff your pant legs into the contoured calf area. I'd then add the Snake Guardz over that.3. Crocs AllCast [after this it's a distant 4th etc] Size 10 fits like size 11 maybe 10.75. Size 9.0 fits okay I guess like a 9.25. They are comfortable and I could wear either around the house. The 10's flop a lot though and heel slide even in 9.0's. Very comfy but whats the purpose of half calf in these? More of a walk the dog or walk to work, If you're going in streams it will fill up.4. Hisea: perplexing. Kind of comfortable sole but size 10 is more like an 11.5. And bulky, and foot area doesn't seem to have enough curve to it. Be difficult to get a good fit unless you ordered at least three pair to try on. I'd think the mud would just suck this boot in, especially if in the water when it fills up.5. Servus "Comfort" Technology: Heavy. Rubber sole not bad. Okay if you just need to slip on to get something out of car. Wouldn't want to walk far. VERY wide calf opening. Your wife could probably stuff her purse in there.6. LaCrosse Diamondback snake proof boots: If I was going in snake infested area and I didn't have time to order on Amazon I'd wear these. But wow, heavy, stiff and uncomfortable. The ONLY option I found to wear on it's own, with waders for waterproof fishing/hunting/hiking or fossil/relic hunting [not brand] that covers ALL the bases [Functionality, comfort, ankle support and WATERPROOF...as in water can't come in over the top of the boot] is the Seac.I will add photo of all boots for visual comparison efficiency. Hope that helps.Good luck and let me know what else you'd like reviewed. Since my three Strokes I don't get out much.Carpe Diem. This might be might first review, or one of first. Please give an up vote.

Get it, you won't regret it! This pair is perfect for my Ranch work and my nature walks. Used daily for past few weeks. Unlike the rubber rain boots which I went through so many so far and all kept me super cold and ripped apart after couple of uses, until I discovered the magic of these neoprene boots! These boots quality are like the mucks except half the price which is awesome for my wallet. These are amazingly comftable! Warm! True to size, and good quality! Very happy with the purchase ordered a pair for my husband and one for me and yesterday got one for my dad. So obviously I recommend these boots, are the ones that you will feel comfy working or playing in the winter season while will keep you dry.
