Great office helper, I am so very happy with this security ink roller. I am one to try and recycle as much as possible, and by using this tool I can recycle sensitive mailers and materials easier due to the fact that not all municipalities accept shredded paper for recycling but will take full sheets but recycling paper with sensitive information cannot be done unless the information is made illegible, which these rollers achieve perfectly, I just do one swipe and all my sensitive info is permanently hidden. The rollers are light in weight and come with refills which is great because I won't need to purchase extra ink for a while.

4 stars because the product alone works fine. I was just disappointed at the fact that one of the bottles had ink leaked out of it and made a bottle a mess, as you can see from the picture. Thankfully the tools were wrapped. cleaned it with water it was fine. But still was annoyed because the delivery in this was delayed by like 3 or 4 days and this is how I receive it..

It works very well. Easy to cover up any personal information.

I use a shredder for most papers that have highly sensitive personal information. I also like to remove my name and address from more generic mailings. I was hoping this would be a good option to save my shredder wear & tear and not have to cut out that information from mailers. However, this roller is just too inconsistent to rely on. It smears, doesn’t roll, and overall has been more trouble than it’s worth. I’ll be sticking to my shredder for any items with personal information. Your results may vary.

Comes with two roller stampers and four bottles of refill ink. The first stamper I opened did not roll at all. Eventually as I tested it, a small piece of black plastic fell out. Broken, got it.The second stamper rolls well. However, the information on credit card statements I tried to blot out can still be read after the stamper ink pattern is applied. The stamper ink is also mediocre on slightly glossy paper such as the kind credit card offers are printed on. It takes a long time to dry.The one thing I have found that the stamper works well on are Amazon shipping labels. With the broken stamper, if I “scrub” the label, the text dissolves. With the working stamper, it will hide my name and address, and it dries somewhat faster than on glossy paper.Other brands of security stamps also don’t work on every type of text and paper, so a shredder is still required. If you get this, test it and know that it won’t work for everything. The integrated box cutters are neat, at least.Side note: 70% rubbing alcohol is good enough to remove stamper ink from surfaces to which it may accidentally stick.

I've used identity protection ink rollers from a couple of other brands before, and I'm pretty happy with how this pair of ink rollers performs. The ink flowed easily and evenly from the very first touch to the paper - no working to get the ink going. The coverage was good, and it easily and fully concealed the text I tested it on. I gave the ink a minute or two to dry, and tried to smudge it. I found it to be completely smudge free - no smearing on the page, and no residue on my fingers. I tested the roller on standard copy paper. Most inks wouldn't perform exactly the same on a glossier surface, but this ink was excellent on paper. The integrated box knife is a clever addition. The blades are small but sharp, and you can lock the blade in the open position for ease of use. I don't think there's any way to replace the blade, but if you're mainly using it to open mail and box tape, it should last for a good long time. The instructions on the side of the box consist of a few photos that are less than an inch square. The photo pointing out the spot where you insert the refill ink has the phrase "Ink addition area" in the smallest size text I've ever seen in my life. Think of a single line of ink drawn by a standard ballpoint pen. That line is thicker than the height of the text. Good grief, folks. Could we make the instructions just a *tad* bigger?Instructions aside, the product is very nice.
