This is as described. It is worth mentioning that this is for a timing belt with that is larger than what you are likely to encounter on most 3D printer brands.

These are typical 5mmm idler and work fine if you are limited to 20T idler size. They have bearing, but not spacer inside. The issue with this design is that over tightening will apply side pressure to the bearing and prevent them from turning smoothly. The other issue is the size of the centre bore. The centre is small, and you need a washer and screws that do not extend too far; otherwise they will block the movement. This is typical for this idler size, and 10mm calls for more belt tension, which may get the issue more pronounced. This is why I designed my CNC with 608 bearings and larger idlers, but these are for my 3D printer, so this will be perfect.

The idlers have two ball bearings each. I've tested every one out of the pack of 10, and they all spin well. There is no grittiness, but there is grease in the bearings, so there is a bit of a drag because of that. The center bore fits an M5 bolt with some play. The head of a socket head M5 bolt clears the outer race of the bearing, so tightening it does not prevent the bearings from moving. All in all, these seem to be quite OK. If you require absolute precision, then you may want to get brand name idlers, but these are just idlers, so their function is usually not that critical. So, in my opinion, they are just fine.

Works as it should. It fit my ceiling fan mounting holes. I cut the original light connector off and soldered it to the replacment. This was i didnt have to use the cheap little wire connector they supply..

The hot design for 3d printers these days is CoreXY for the simple mechanics and blinding speed. These idler pulleys direct the belt on the smooth side so you don’t wear out your belts. Recommended
