The Heatsink was built well enough, the ram installed just fine, but when I went to boot my brand new 9800x3D system, my motherboard gave me the "bad CPU" light and de-bug code. Turns out after removing one stick of RAM, the system booted. Switched out the sticks and tested the other stick- no boot. Then I put in my other set of DDR5 and tested the DIMM slots, they worked fine and booted. Therefore 1 of the 32gb RAM sticks was DOA, and now I have to wait for the lengthy return and refund process, missing out on more sweet sweet FPS.

I had CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 5200MHz CL40 (CMK32GX5M2B5200C40) with AMD 7800X3D and Asus tuf gaming x670e-plus wifi (latest bios firmware).I had a lot of problems with this setup. Blue Screen, issues to work with 5200mhz and crashes everywhere. I tested each memory and there are perfect.So, I decided to update to 64GB but select this one that has EXPO ready (The corsair are XMP ready).I swap each memory in the same slot and my PC starts to working without any issues.No more blue screen, no more crashes. Stable even at 6000mhz.So, I recommend this one if you have AMD setup.

I have a MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk with a 7950X3D. This kit wasn't listed as being a tested kit with this combination but I had no issues with another G.SKILL kit so it was worth a try. It did take some messing about to get to work reliably, but no issues once it was setup.Performance is as expected but the X3D parts don't seem particularly sensitive to ram speeds in most cases.

Completely happy with these DIMM's. Just short enough that my CPU cooler cleared them. Timings came up as advertised and EXPO profile worked first time. Super easy to set up in BIOS and get the most of out them. Used with MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk WIFI updated to latest BIOS.

This was necessary upgraded memory for a new build after nearly 10 years of just upgrading GPU's and storage on my PC. Seems to perform well. I went with a pair of 32 GB sticks as an attempt to 'future proof' for what that is worth. Might have overdone it, as I don't have a use case for so much DRAM. Might be upgrading the CPU moving forward, as I have adopted the AM5 platform and I expect more DRAM is always a good idea with these multicore processors, in general. Predicting future needs is always risky. Oh, and I don't need or want RGB in this completely enclosed mid-tower case.
