Flipped on AMD EXPO and never looked back. Runs fine with just the two modules installed. I never tested with a 4 module config.

Non posso che consigliarle, montate su AMD 9600 con frequenze XMP lette e rette senza nessun problema, qualità g.skill e soprattutto senza inutili lucine.

I needed some DDR5 rams for my new MSI B650 motherboard, and the 7800X3D cpu.I looked at all the options. I personally didn’t need or want rgb on my rams, because I got plenty of that on my fans and GPU, so this g.skill ram caught my eyes. These rams are 6000mt/s, which is great. Price is really good for what you are getting. All you gotta do is install these rams on the correct slots, then go to BIOS, then navigate to the “Exteme Memory Profile”, and MAKE SURE you select “EXPO”.Don’t use XMP, because with XMP, you’ll only get 4200mt/s, which is the max amount XMP will support, which means you really aren’t getting the maximum performance from your rams, so always make sure to select EXPO in the BIOS to really get the full benefit.Build quality is solid, and so far it seems cooling is not an issue at all.Would buy again!

for months I had BOSD due to installing incompatible memory in AM5. Now after finding the cheapest compatible 32gigs this worked on the first try and booted within 10 seconds.Games and applications have no issues and run smoothly, 6000mhz is the sweet spot.If ya have more money, Do go with the Hynix chip ( 17k ). This is a Samsung chip. Hynix chip gives more performance.

Pairs well with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X AM5 processor, ASUS Prime B650-PLUS AMD AM5 motherboard, and a SAMSUNG 990 PRO 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD.No graphics card is required for the 7000 X series processors unless you need gaming performance. I'm driving a 4k monitor at 4k resolution on Windows 11 without hiccup. NOTE that the motherboard assigns a portion of RAM to the graphics functionality, so Windows may report that 32 GB is loaded, but only 31GB is useable RAM. This is NORMAL for graphics processors! For people complaining that their memory is running slow, the instructions CLEARLY state that EXPO mode must be enabled in your motherboard BIOS!

I was in desperated need for an upgrade from 32GB because of the memory hoarding Chrome and Windows paging tool taking up 20GB of ram without me doing anything yet. It was such a relief to see the 64GB number showing up in the task manager. When I first install the new kit the pc wouldn't post, but then after some researches I figured that I would need to turn off EXPO in BIOS first before installing, and then turn it back on when the pc posted succussfully.Having the ram for 2 weeks now, everything works fine.

Despite being rated for 6000mhz, at these speeds my windows was constantly crashing, games crashed every few minutes and constant memory errors. However, at 5600mhz I'm getting incredible thermals and performance. Just be aware that with the new am5 platform you may run into some issues with ram speeds here and don't be afraid to slightly down clock them down from 6000.
