Picked up a Corsair K70 SE RGB for Xmas. Didnt realize the keys on the keyboard were solid. Sure there is lighting under the keys but not through them. Got hard at night when you cant remember what character was what key. This set did exactly what I was looking for. All the keys (including the lettering/symbols) light up now. So much easier to read and over all the entire board looks so much better.

I had worn out the keys on my old Apex Pro. The nubs for home keys are completely worn off, and the tops are polished with wear. This GSkill set are great looking caps (subjective, I know), but they remind me of an old school typewriter a bit. They are the only set of 3rd party caps I have found that actually fit correctly on the Apex Pro. Some of the others that were reported to work did not for me, having issues with any of the stabilized keys (space, enter, shift, etc.). Maybe it's because my Apex Pro is from 2021 and they work on newer Pros? Whatever the case, these fit well and have no issues. They are absolutely gorgeous with RBG enabled, and they feel decent to type on. The edges are a bit harder than I'm used to but that is part of the look. There are only two issues I have with these caps: 1. the build quality is not consistent. For example there are several dimples on the top of the D key of my set and several of the caps have the letter raised more than on others to the point where you can feel it quite a bit. 2, the sound is 'clacky' compared to the stock keycaps. I assume that is due to the material used for the clear bases, and sound is very subjective so you might love the sound. I'm not docking any stars for that, it's just not a great sound to my ears.1 star docked for the inconsistent build quality, but I'm keeping them because they brought new life into my old Apex Pro and they look incredible.

These keycaps are nice. I feel like they are an upgrade from the Corsair ones on my keyboard. They also look much better too.

I am OBSESSED with how these look! I have the k70 RGB MK.2 SE keyboard, and all the keys fit except for the space bar, windows, and alt keys. I decided to keep the whole bottom row, minus left ctrl, the original keys because it looked better than having them mixed and matched. The rgb lights shine through and really pop; the pictures don't do it justice! 100% recommend these keys!

I mounted them on an old Cherry MX Red keyboard, and it feels like it has a new life. The shine-through effect is impressive, but the semi-transparent keycaps aren’t overly bright like a fully transparent keycap set would be, striking a perfect balance.

Wow what a facelift! This G.Skill Crystal Crown keycap set has a glorious font and detail in the black package. I actually have to turn down the maximum RGB brightness to a more comfortable level while typing. The north facing RBG works well with the transparent base as I also don't see any glaring sources when sitting in front of the keyboard. And a bonus - the space bar fits this keyboard, which is a common issue from other reviews I have seen. I was prepared to use my stock one in advance but pleasantly surprised to see that this keyboard accepted all 104 keys easily. Still no FCN key (2 Windows istead), but I'm not docking any points for that, I just don't care.Typing on these keys is fantastic after replacing the stock set of this Koorui board. I also tweaked the keycaps before putting them on by adding a single O-ring on the stems before placing on the Gateron Blue switches, and the muted clicks just puts me in a great mood considering its mostly for working remote.Couldn't be more pleased. I've unlocked the sights and sounds that I've been looking for in a mechanical.

I received these today, and I have to say that for the most part I like them. The different colors on my mechanical keyboard really shine through, making for a truly unique experience. However, there are still a couple of things to note before purchasing.First, depending on the type of switch you’re using there will be a noticeable difference in the sound quality. In my case, I am using a mechanical keyboard with blue switches (see the photo done in daylight for clarification). Usually, there is a loud ‘THOCK’ sound- though some prefer the term ‘CLACK’- when pressing the keys. The thock sound is actually what one hears on the release of the key, but I digress (LOL). Due to the fact that I can’t use all 104 keys because of the way the keyboard itself is configured, the difference in sound quality is more pronounced between the original keys and those with the new keycaps on them. For some, it may not register and that would be great. However, I am both a writer and musician, so I can tell that the sound is a bit more muted when pressing on the clear caps. Again, not a noticeable thing to some, and might even be pleasant to their ear, but to mine not so much. The second thing to note is that these caps will not fit on a mechanical-FEELING keyboard. Yes, I have one of those as well, and there is definitely a difference. In fact, I originally bought these to jazz up that keyboard, which also has the RGB colors I love. Although mildly saddened that they wouldn’t fit, I still counted it as a win because they were a perfect fit for the mechanical. All in all, I’m still going to give this product a five star rating because the quality of the caps are quite good, and definitely sturdy. I didn’t have to worry about breakage when handling or pressing down on them to place. So no, I’m not returning them. In fact, I already have another keyboard in mind to use them on, which has red switches. Still a clack, but more in line with how these keycaps actually sound so any slight difference shouldn’t be as noticeable as it is on this keyboard. However, I felt I should leave this review for a fellow ‘blue switch’ user, who perhaps craves a stronger sound when typing for long periods of time. For me, it’s one of the most motivating things in the world when crafting novels.Happy Typing/ Gaming!
