This table Set is a total game-changer for my Boy Scout son, and it gets a solid five stars from us. This 6-piece camping and backpacking mess kit is just what he needed for his outdoor adventures. It's super lightweight and tough – perfect for roughing it out there. The design is smart, too, making it easy to pack and carry. From plates to utensils, it's got everything covered. Perfect camping gear for my son's scouting escapades!

Bought this for my daughter’s first Girl Scout camping trip. The dishes were great quality and spacious. Mesh bag worked perfectly to hold everything together and hang up to dry. Great quality!

We got this for my son for outdoor school. It’s 100% perfect. It’s sturdy but perfect for the task but not so expensive that if it gets lost it’s a huge deal. We are definitely happy with this purchase.

Everything we needed for a Girl Scout weekend and all in cute colors. I love that the utensils are heavy weight plastic unlike a lot of the other metal ones. Good sturdy set at an affordable price.

This is a great, no-frills mess kit. My daughter and son both have this kit for scouts and they've held up nicely. The items are light weight, but sturdy and are very easy to clean. You get everything you'd need for dining in the woods in a mesh carry/wash bag. The kit includes a plate, bowl, cup, fork, knife and spoon. It really is a complete kit for camping. Parts of the kit can also be used if you're backpacking. For backpacking, my kids usually pack the plate and fork and use a collapsible cup as their mess kit to keep things minimal and light. I'd recommend, if you're looking for a simple mess kit.

Bought this for my daughters Brownies camp. Worked perfectly and came back still looking like new. Great little set and great value.

I use this set for eating my packed lunch in the office just about every day so I'm not wasting disposable plastic flatware or paper plates. I've also used this for a weekend backpacking trip. The set is light and takes up very little space. Every piece of the set is durable and easy to clean. The pieces have gotten a little dinged up over time, but I didn't buy a plastic camping table set because I want it to stay pretty. If you're looking for a cheap and practical table set, this is it.

First off. Great plate, bowl and cup. Excellent quality for camping application. Not too heavy, but just heavy enough. As for the utensils, not so excellent, and that's why I took off one star. While I ordered the green, orange and blue around the same time; within a couple weeks of eachother, the blue set came with a really lame spoon, if you can call it a spoon. It's more a cross between a spatula and shallow spoon-like thing. Like a spork without tines. The spoon pictured in the listing is NOT what came with my set! The fork and knife are fine, and I like that they are permanently connected with a plastic cord. That way they stay together (duh) and clean up as a set. As I said, I ordered the green and orange at around the same time as that blue and they came with a real spoon! In fact a really great spoon, for which sets I'd give five stars. I need to get a replacement set from GSI for the lousy blue set of utensils. Oh, and you can use the mesh bag as a colander of sorts. it works great for ramman noodles, and likely any pasta as well. As long at the portion is sized to the bag. And, the bag, when soaped up makes a great dish scrubber, for not too baked on stuff. So GSI, what's up with the very lame blue set spoon?! (No doubt the unvetted refugees are messing with our camping cookware.)

We got these as a way to reduce our trash impact when camping and be a little more responsible. It came down to this GSI set or a very similiar Coleman set. Ultimately, a review commenting on the sturdiness of the GSI set made us get this one.Really, no complaints on this. The set is made from a decently thick, durable plastic; it's SEMI-rigid in nature (you can easily bend or squeeze it with a little effort), but MUCH sturdier than any paper plate or bowl would ever be. They seem to be durable enough to be dishwasher safe (although there's nothing definitive on that on any of the packaging that came with the set). The utensils are nice too, and seem to be made of a denser, more rigid plastic than the rest of the set. I also like that, by their design, the mugs can be stacked with other GSI mugs (the Coleman set has mugs with closed handles, preventing them from being stackable).Only a few minor complaints that don't warrant a lesser review: the utensils, while dense and rigid, are still not quite as good as a metal set might be, and the knife, while decently serated, is rather thick. I had some trouble cutting through a potato with it, so keep that in mind when deciding what to eat using this set. Also, the mug is a LITTLE small-ish, and the handle is kind of cramped. Of course, I have really long fingers and big hands, so that could just be me.
