When you lay an object against a front-surface mirror, the reflection will appear to be touching the object. There should be NO space between the object and the reflection, because the reflective surface is on the front of the glass.With this mirror, there a space between the object and its reflection. This indicates the reflective surface is on the BACK-SURFACE of the glass.
