Emergency Eyewash has to be provided where mains tap water is not readily available and at least a litre of sterile water or sterile normal saline solution (0.9%) should be provided in sealed disposable containers. Containers must not be used after their expiry date. Our Eyewash meets these requirements and all have the expiry date stamped on the container and have a shelf life of 4 years from the date of manufacture.Emergency eyewash is for irrigation only and mechanically sluices contaminants out of the eye. It does not neutralise acids or alkalis.
