This cleaning kit comes with everything you need except a griddle seasoning conditioner. It comes with a variety of tools to get the job done.While it does a good job removing grime, the scouring pads wore out quick. I prefer the scouring pads a bit more abrasive. I used 2 per cleaning.The scraper is durable, and I am impressed with it. It is hard to hit the corners with the bricks, so I had to use the scraper.Overall, it is a good kit, but I still use additional items like a steam cleaner to make sure my Blackstone is clean and sanitized.

In the past I just let the BBQ grid just "clean" itself by just firing up the grill and letting the leftover stuff on the grid heat up and drop off and burn away. After asking myself the question about the need for grill cleaning it turns out that it is a good idea, maybe not after every use, but at least after every third or fourth time. My research indicated that the leftover bits of meat, marinades, other sauces and seasonings can harbor bacteria which could possibly infect your food. Heating (burning) old marinades can produce "flavors" that are not desirable in the new meal you are preparing. There is even the threat of creating carcinogenetic fumes that could contaminate your food.This cleaning kit has what is needed to do a good job cleaning the grill/griddle. I start with the wire brush to get rid of the larger fragments. Next is the "cleaning brick" which is a brick of pumice which fits securely in the provided handle. This is nice because when you rub it over the grill the pumice breaks away to form grooves that match the grill's rod spacing. The pumice stone can be used several times before the grooves get too deep. Then, just start grooves at a different angle to utilize the surface of the pumice. I assume some of the pumice (which is a glass) can come off onto the grill, so the next thing I do is wash it off with water by either using a spray bottle or just hosing it off in the backyard.The last step I use is the scouring pads. These conform nicely to the grill and remove and leftover particles.I haven't used the scraper yet but it would be very useful if I had a LOT of gunk built up on the grill. It would also come in handy for the first tool to use on a communal grill, like those at parks or beaches, where lots of people use who knows what to BBQ (grill).Bottom line - This cleaning kit has what you need to keep your grill/griddle clean and happy and at a quality and price that is better than buying them separately,

Anyone who has ever cleaned a dirty barbecue grill or a griddle with a wire bristles brush will sooner or later get a steel bristle stuck inside your mouth and will never buy another bristle barbecue cleaning brush again. I had read several online horror stories about people who have been cleaning with wire brushes and having the brushes shed the bristles and winding up in food that people ate and those people going to the hospital with stainless steel bristles stuck in their mouth and throat. I have used the best bristle brushes that money could buy and I was exceedingly careful every time I cleaned the grill and then I would go over it with paper towels knowing fully well I would never ever have a bristle left over on my grill until one day I got a bristle stuck in the roof of my mouth I was fortunate enough to be able to get it out myself. I will never ever use a brush again my father who is a chef that has been a chef his entire life and has always clean grills with pumice stones and the scrubby pads that's all they ever use on grills commercially and professionally.. so when I saw this kit it was a no-brainer I ordered it immediately. Wanted arrived I was actually surprised how much was really in the kit for what it cost the value was really good it makes grill cleaning so easy this is a good quality kit for griddle and grill cleaning. It actually uses the exact same things used in a restaurant setting only in a little smaller size for a residential use the only difference size it's perfect for residential use. I've spent over $20 for brushes that I've thrown away in under a month this entire kit was under $25 which I think is absolutely amazing for the amount of things that are in this kit and the quality of the kit itself it performed beautifully and it was so easy to use I would recommend this to anybody who is really looking to get the griddle or grill as clean as they can as safely as they can without the need for wire brushes

Excellent variety of cleaning tools that work well for the intended use. I don't expect to have them forever, but they definitely serve the purpose if you're in need of an all-in-one solution for griddle/grill cleaning.

I recently surprised my husband with a Blackstone 36" griddle. He LOVES the convenience, and he LOVES this complete set of griddle tools. They are well made, dishwasher safe, and sturdy enough for scrapping and getting any job done!
