This machine rips. I have had 2 mantis rotor tillers, with one being rebuilt. Done messing with gas and oil. Have small gardens and this works just fine.these little machines are not meant to rip deep, nor harden ground, however,it will rip 4, 5 inches deep on old garden. Battery life is about 40 minutes. Heck, ya need a break after that anyway. Glad I have this. No more pulling rope to start.

Je l’adore assez puissant avec la batterie 4ah que je possède déjà parfait pour une utilisation intérieure (en serre) car aucun échappement et très silencieux. Facile d’assemblage

This is a small tiller (not a middle buster), but it's fine for a little light cultivating and for getting into a smaller space. We have other Greenworks tools that use the same batteries, so that makes it very convenient. I'm very happy with it for my smaller garden situation.

This front tine electric tiller is easy to start, lightweight and simple to use, but the handle length is more comfortable for persons who are 5’6” or taller. The handlebar length is not adjustable. It works well for small areas and cleaning up weeds between rows in the garden. Digs 4-8 inches depending on pressure applied and amount of times soil is re-worked. Good value for price. Simple to change batteries, clean, no gas or diesel required.

Was really shocked. When I put it together, I thought there'd be no way it would go through my hard soil. Only 2nd year for this garden spot and not able to run a big tiller and no one was interested in the job for a small garden space. This was so easy to start and so much more powerful than I expected. It's small enough that you can pull it back and forth over really tough spots, but it will do the job! The battery lasted longer than I expected, too. BTW, in my mid 60's.

Not for hard soil. I have a hard soil with clay and sand. I need to break it before using this. But to maintain soil and mixing in compost and/or peat moss, it is perfect and saves your back.

The product uses 4 tines to cultivate the soil: A, B, C, and D. The box I received had 4 tines: A, B, C, C, BUT NO "D".The following is text from my last email sent to Greenworks:I am sending another reply because I have found more issues with the product. The assembly instructions regarding the tines state to place the tine so “The stamped side of the tine should face away from the gear box”. “The view of the gear box is from the front of the cultivator”. Since the stamped letters are on the opposite side of the “Flute”, this instruction must be incorrect (as shown correctly in the pictures in the manual) and if the stamped side faced away from the gear box, it would be opposite as shown in figure 4. Again, I will point out, IF ASSEMBLED AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 4, THE STAMPED LETTER WILL BE FACING THE GEAR BOX AS THE LETTERS ARE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE TINE SHAFT.Another other problem is that in order to run the unit on just two tines, the directions state to used tines “A” and “D”. I have two problems with this. First, I do not have a “D”, and second, if I did, I don’t see how the “Hatch Pin” supplied would snap down over the tine shaft as the shaft is long and the small ring of the hatch pin would not snap over it. Since I will not receive the “D” tine until I travel 140 miles one way (280 miles round trip), I am considering the possibility of just returning the product to Amazon when I return to Scottsdale as it is unusable as it exists and I may not be back to our mountain home for 6 – 8 weeks. If the tine “D” could be sent to me at PO Box xxxxxx, I would be able to use the unit. Please acknowledge that you have received this email.Greenworks only ships by FedEx. Our mountain home is not served well by FedEx. I pointed out that I had also purchased several other Greenworks products which I have not yet used (Qty 2 - 80V Chain Saws from CostCo and Qty 1 - 80V Post Hole Auger from Amazon) and after wasting almost an entire day on this product, I was considering returning ALL of the Greenworks products. The product may work well - I May never know.

My Honda tiller gave-up-the-ghost, at the beginning of a big tilling project. After much wasted time trying to repair it; I finally bit the bullet and ordered this Greenworks cordless (battery-powered) model.I didn’t want to assemble the new Greenworks tiller, because it’s something new to learn (which for me is the bugle-call for procrastination). but I remembered a video review of someone who was reviewing the same model, and it looked easy; so I took a deep breath, and gathered the few included parts, and slid them on... and was done in minutes.I did not assemble the wheels to the tiller, because I didn’t want them interfering with getting a good, deep, grip on the soil to be tilled. Perhaps it wouldn’t have made any difference; but that was my mindset. For you, remember that IF YOU DON’T INSTALL THE WHEELS, then the tiller will not stand upright when not in use... and also you will have to carry the tiller, and it’s full weight, when transporting the tiller across the yard, or driveway, or wherever you’re going (and it is a very awkward, cumbersome, tool to carry). Nevertheless, because I’m plenty strong, I still always chose to lift, and carry, it.Upon activating the tiller, with the handlebar controls, the tines began slowly turning... and then sped up considerably moments later. After time, I realized that this was normal. Furthermore, it became apparent that this tiller’s tines are geared to turn slower than you would expect, at all times. I also remembered that another reviewer had said that this tiller has a slow standard tine speed; and from my perspective, it matters not. I found the power, and ability to till the soil was remarkably good. It performed as well as my gas powered mini tiller, which is all I could hope for.I really enjoyed pressing a button, pulling a lever, and then having uninterrupted tilling until the battery ran out of juice. Then 35 minutes later, after charging the battery, I was back in business. I really didn’t mind waiting for the battery to charge, as it gave me time to rest. For me, pulling the tiller backwards, while letting it dig-in, gave the best results... as it has with all tillers I’ve ever used, big and small. The area I needed to till was a former lawn area consisting of clay soil which had been dug-up, and then filled back in, and tamped down with a backhoe. There were lots of rocks. This little battery powered tiller had no problem digging through the hardened soil, and also no problem dislodging rocks as big as my fist. I tilled 1500 square feet of the aforementioned soil (an area about 12 ft. X 120 ft.). I considered this tool to be flawless during the many weeks I spent using it for hours each day.At some point, I opened-up the box to a Greenworks 80 Volt chainsaw, which I’d yet to try. This was so that I could harvest the included 2 AmpHour lithium battery... which allowed me to have 2 identical batteries to allow me to continue tilling, while the other battery was charging. This was great, but an unexpected downside was that one of my fingers (left hand ring-finger) went numb from all of the continuous tilling... and has slowly been recovering for a month; so do yourself a favor and wear gloves to cut down on the subtle vibrations going to your hands.I have a soft spot for tools, and appliances, which do exactly what they’re supposed to do, and this 80-volt Greenworks tiller is in that category.I have no complaints, and nothing bad to say about it. It solved my problem (of needing a reliable and tiller) completely... and it is 100% functional for it’s intended purpose.I give it Two thumbs Up!

Leider unbrauchbar.
