Absolutely amazing! 3” of snow here in St Louis area . We were able to do our huge driveway in one charge. The power to throw the snow was impressive.A fantastic value and easy to store.

I have a large driveway. The battery didn’t die. It did a great job.

Great little snow blower. I was able to do my entire driveway, walkway and sidewalk and never ran out of power. 1 star off because i had to remove the battery and put it back in because it wouldn’t start up. Not sure what caused the glitch. Was powerful enough to throw the slushy heavy stuff.

I have large driveway and gas blower. I got this for lighter storm since only 20% as heavy. I tried it on 5 cm of snow and it worked well. Battery life around 35-40 minutes so purchased a spare for heavier storms. The auger is plastic so will not be able to tackle banks lift by city plows. Chute easy to adjust. Not self propelled so you push it against snow. Chute throwing range is not as high as advertised but oh well it is my plan B blower. Easy assembly and easier if you watch one of the assembly YouTube videos out there.

I live in Rapid City, SD so we get a fair amount of snow which is sometimes more thick and heavy than others. I’ve had the machine over a year now it plows through the snow well and rarely plugs up. We have a fairly small driveway of about 25’ long and wide enough to fit 4 cars side by side. If the snow is lighter, I can easily get the job done plus the side walk but in heavier snow, It will do not get the entire job done and I’ll have to manually shovel the rest and the sidewalk vs waiting 2-3 hours for the battery to charge. Speaking of charging, the charger is very noisy so do your charging away from normal conversation areas. It is easy to turn the spout and operate the machine itself and the lights are good. Overall, very please with my snowblower.

Ok normaly i never write a review but feel i must. Just ordered the product with some mixed reservation after reading the reviews. But as a company that sells on amazon i feel this important. So on feb 18th i received the unit it and charged if for 20 min to do a test run. At 20 min it showed full charge. Im gona mention now that i live in Winnipeg Canada where its cold as crap and we get tons of snow. Ps im 50 years old and never owned a snow blower of any type.1st for the negative it states to store and not use below -17 cel. do to the unit being plastic. Ok my problem here is i do not have a garage so i will have to bring the unit in the house to the basement. 2nd it is not self propelled.3rd the unit is completly pastice incl the auger. This part has me thinking i would not use it against hard chunks of road ice pushed up by street clearing unitsAs of using it 2 times that all the the bad i have to say yet.Now the positive1 it is only 40 lbs so any one that is capable of working in sub zero temps can easily bring it in to the basement2 the unit will run easliy 25 min even tho i did not allow it to fully charge as per manufacture specs. But at our sub zero temps here the unit pretty much says time out have a drink (your choice of couse) then finish up.3 it cleared though 2 foot drifts quite easy and was able to clear front and back walk and 3/4 of a driveway in 1 almost charged run. The 2nd run later i finished mine and neighbors 2 car driveway.4 it easily tosses the snow upto 25 feet as advertizedOver all being my 1st snowblower im not stupid it is not a $2000 90lb steel beast that is self propelled snd gas fed unit, but id say it handled the job very well for a battery drivin unit. And for the $416 cn. This unit so far has execeded my expectations, and i would recommend for any one for light to moderate duty use.Pleaae remember to look at the star ratings for products. To get a 4.5 star is very hard to do considering 1 bad review can drop that number very fast.I will update my statement if i have any problems eith the unit or manufacture.

WARNING!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AT THIS TIME!! IT WILL LIKELY FAIL! I have the 80 volt mower, string trimmer and leaf blower and they perform very well and I am very happy with them. As odd as it seems, I really look forward to using them each time I needed to work on the yard. So I am a real fan of their products.Because they worked so well I was inspired to get the snow blower to replace my Toro brand electric-corded snow blower which has been operating flawlessly for 15 years. I received the Greenworks 80 volt snow blower and used it 20 minutes, during which it performed very well and I was very happy. After 20 minutes of use it died. The LED lights come on but nothing else happens. I turns out it's a bad printed circuit board, and so far I can find no explanation as to why the board dies. I returned the snow blower to Amazon for replacement. I got the brand new replacement blower a week later, thinking it would be OK. Not so. It too died after less than 5 minutes of use! Same issue. I called Greenworks and they acknowledge that there is a very serious widespread issue, but since the customer service people are told nothing about what the company intends to do about the issue, the only thing they could do was to offer to send me a replacement circuit board, which they insist is newer and improved from the one that comes in the unit. I am not very trusting at this point but am willing to replace the circuit board. I have read about others who replaced the board and their snow blowers died again. They give you very detailed and helpfully illustrated instructions to do so. Replacing the board is quite easy. If it works, OK, but otherwise I'm sending this unit back to Amazon for a full refund. I may update this review after I have installed the replacement board and had a chance to use the blower. The company is a Chinese company, and as one would expect, the US corporate representatives will not speak to you. In fact, any phone number you find for them goes to their customer service call center, even if the number is assigned to somebody at their offices at Mooresville, North Carolina. So there is no one to speak with, no accountability nor admission of responsibility nor any indication of what they intend to do about the hundreds, if not thousands of dead devices. So for now, I would stay away from this product. I understand the EGO brand snow blowers are much more reliable and as much as I would hate to get into another company's battery format when I have so many existing Greenworks batteries, I may be forced to do just that in order to find a quality and reliable product. As you can imagine, this is horribly frustrating. So, save yourself grief and buy another brand. Maybe someday they will have fixed the issue and the product could be one to recommend.

Minnesota, USA 2020 - I've used this a few times already this year.Over my lifetime I have realized that most times the snowfall is usually just a few inches and the big gas snow blower I have is a total overkill although I use it anyway just like everyone else.- Snow depth range: 1 to 5 inches (so far)- Snow type: fluffy to wet & heavy.- Battery for fluffy, no problems clearing average size 3 car garage type of driveway on less than 1 charge.- Battery for wet and heavy, took 2 full battery charges with battery taking close to 30 minutes to charge each time. Initially a pain but then I used that time to shovel front path to deck, the deck, steps and throw salt on first half of driveway and/or a bit of chit chat with the neighbor's.- I'm going to buy the GreenWorks garden tiller with battery so I'll have 2 which will be nice....problem solved.-- Note: The cost of this snow blower with batteries is actually really cheap for what your getting so total cost of snow blower, 2 batteries and the garden tiller is still roughly half of what my old(existing) gas snow blower cost and at least half the cost of the much larger gas snow blower I would have bought.Reason to buy eclectic: 1) It's cool 2) Shoulder Preservation [push button to start]...I know gas ones have that also 3) No need to hassle with the gas 4) It's really really light 5) Quite [although not as much as I thought it would be but still quite]The bad & annoying: (4 of 5 stars for maneuverability)1) Short handle....were all the designers and engineers 5'7 ? I'd gladly pay an extra $30 bucks for an adjustable handle. (solution: Hang a picture in the breakroom of average American/European Male standing next to your engineers, just saying.)2) The skidders (the runners underneath snow blower that scrapes against driveway will ware out fast, guessing I'll need to replace every couple years....not a big deal but.....would it have been too much to make that out of metal?- looked it up, can buy replacements on Amazon for about $10....problem solved.- The entire snow blower is plastic, feels cheap but so far seems sturdy enough and on the bright side it will never rust I guess. Not really a negative but just used to buying metal tools so just a matter of getting used to.summaryThis snow blower is great and would buy again without hesitation. A second battery although for me not absolutely needed I will buy one anyway (with garden tiller). The heavy snow at the bottom of the driveway uses a full battery charge to clear but so far it cuts though even the compacted wet and & heavy like butter, amazing and unexpected (again will drain a full battery charge just for the bottom of driveway after snow plow comes). Lastly, one or twice a year we get totally dumped on here, in those instances I'd have to snow blow half way through before it would get to deep (if I didn't have a large gas snow blower that still works).Bonus: My kids (teenagers) think it's cool, no hassle and have been using it BEFORE I ask them to. Granted that won't last because, well they're teenagers. but I'll take what I can get for as long as I can get it :)That's all I have, hope it helps. Signed, Minnesota!
