I bought a Greenworks electric lawnmower in the winter when it was marked down so I didn't get to use it until the spring. I used it twice and then had an unrelated accident. I couldn't mow myself so I hired someone and my new mower sat in the garage. I kept the battery indoors except when I needed to use my Greenworks chainsaw. The battery remains in good condition. Now the lawnmower won't start. I know the battery is fully charged. Nothing has happened to the lawnmower, it just sat in the garage. I saw videos online that said to take it apart an look for a loose wire. I'm not going to do that. If I take it apart, inevitably something won't go back right and I'm left with an even bigger mess.I called some local lawnmower repair places and they said they will not work on Greenworks. I went online to try to find a Greenworks repair facility and I got a run around from every crook that knows people will be looking for a repair for this brand.I didn't buy the extended warranty so I'm not expecting to get anything back from them. I just want to warn anyone thinking of buying this product. If you do buy it, get the warranty because it most likely will fail on you.

Got this on prime day for 300 and then I got 250 rebate from my local utilities, so only $50! It works good, nice cut and easy to use. Think I get about 20-30 minutes of run time. It's nice and quiet with little vibration. I took a star off for the self propelled. The cable is a little too long and needs tinkering. Also when using self propelled the battery does drain faster. Will probably get another battery.

I bought this because it is self-propelled and battery powered. My yard has lots of angles and turns. I have used this new one now several times and being self-propelled has shorted my cutting time from 1 hour to 20 minutes. And the best part is I am not exhausted when the mowing chore is finished. I am older and still enjoy doing my own yard work. This uses no gasoline, has a push-bottom start, does a beautiful job on my lawn, and the battery re-charge takes about 45 minutes. The battery storage is in the top lid of the mower- very convenient and safe. Great product!

This is replacing the Greenworks 19" cordless. It is quite a bit heavier, noisier and harder to maneuver for cutting in and doing corners. That said, on the straight cuts, it's brilliant. I have no problem with the self-propel bar except to remember to let go before it takes me into the street. The battery for me is much easier to take out than the nineteen inch. It comes straight up, and if needed two hands can be used. The other had a horizontal extraction on an angle which was difficult for only one old hand to grip and pull out just the right way. It is a powerful machine, and it will use a lot of power. The battery given will not last the complete cut for me with a small yard even if it is a 5.0 AH. I think most people will need a second battery. With two cordless mowers, a cordless blower vac and a cordless snow blower, Greenworks has yet to disappoint me.

This mower is the nicest to mow with that I have ever encountered in over 50 years of mowing. At 66, I'm a bit broken down in the back and can't pull start a gas mower or push a mower around the yard This self propelled mower solves both those problems it is a dream to mow with. The only weakness is battery life, which is always the case with any battery powered tool. I already had 4 batteries from green works products and this mower came with a 5 amp hour battery. So with all 5 batteries I can mow a full acre of grass with power left over It has plenty of power for ordinary mowing. Probably not enough for foot long wet grass but plenty for normal mowing. Whisper quiet, no gas, no exhaust, I absolutely love it and highly recommend to anyone. It's also a snap to assemble, no tools needed, just attach the handle and charge the battery and you're ready to go. The included 5 amp hour battery lasts me 20 to 30 minutes. With my 4 spare batteries I could mow continuously for 2 hours or so if I had that much stamina (which I don't). Great, great mower.
