I lived in a retirement home when I bought these and often the dining hall food was not good. With these bowls I could make myself hot or cold cereal, and with plastic utensils just throw away when done - no sink filled up with regular bowls and silverware. Sturdy enough for more than one use, no leaks, several bowls in the set. All very worthwhile and cost effective. Also, good for placing bowls of small candies for my visitors in my apartment. The bowls are sturdy enough for any number of uses.

We are trying to cut our water use (so many loads of dishes in a busy household!) but also keep away from plastic and excess waste. These are a great value. They have held up to salads with dressings and yogurt/fruit, salsas and even oatmeal. We will definitely be purchasing these again as they have helped cut our dishwasher use down considerably.

This is my second time buying these bowls and I've been very satisfied with them. They are durable , microwavable, hold liquids well without having a plastic coating on them , compostable and best of all affordable. I would have given them 5 stars but they are a bit hard to get apart. When you think about it though , it's a good thing. That means they don't have a wax or other chemical coating on them to make them easy to slide apart. They crunch up well when I'm finished and take up a lot less space.

My family goes through paper bowels amazingly fast and the kids can be a bit picky. If the bowls are a little small or flimsy, they notice. These bowls are a great size, sturdy and can easily handle any snack, cereal or even hot soup. They are biodegradable, which is a great piece of mind because whether they are tosses in the recycle bin or trash bin, these will not just take up space in a landfill. They will degrade over time and are much better for the environment.As for price, I compared these to the prices at local grocery stores and these are right in line with what you can get at your local store and you get much more.Excellent product. Will buy more!
