The fact you can buy something like this nowadays for this price is amazing to me.The power switch is momentary. The beam is extraordinarily bright to the point that if you're out in the countryside where it's pitch black at night, you'll light up objects over a mile away easily. With a few twists of the lens cap, you can even switch the focus of the beam to a relative "flood" and light up a larger area at the cost of throw distance.I haven't tested battery life yet much yet, but with some light fooling around every night it's been about a week and it's still going strong. The one con is that the charge port is micro USB. I still have a few of these cords left but they're definitely running out and I don't plan on replacing them. USB-C would have been nice.

I put a green laser sight on a pistol and went outside to compare it to red. When I shined it on my fence the dog took after it. He loved it so much I decided to buy this pointer for him. He loves chasing it all over the yard and in the house. He bugs me every day to play with it. It is very bright and seems well made.

This laser is fantastic. Brightness is exactly what you would expect from a green laser, charges fast.

This is a powerful little laser. I use it at work to point out things at about 75yds. away. It went through the washing machine and I just knew I ruined it so I immediately ordered another one. It would not work because water was dripping out of it. I took the caps off and blew out as much of the water as possible and placed it under a small lamp to help dry it out. The green light came on for a second or two. I recharged the laser and I am still using it today. What a tuff little laser.

Seems powerful enough. Primary use is to point out stars for star gazing, and it is amazing for that. I like that it came with a hard case. I also like that it has a port and a cable, rather than many others that have a USB-A connecter right on the end of the light. Yeah, plug those into your USB port and have the entire weight of the light just hanging there? No thanks. This is a great product, at a great price, with the right features. I will probably be buying another one.UPDATE: I DID buy another one, and I mounted this one to my Orion XT8 (8" dobsonian telescope). It works FABULOUS! See the pic showing the laser mounted and pointing right at Jupiter! This is SOOOO much easier than using a finder scope, at least for all the nice bright objects (e.g. planets, moon, bright stars, etc.) I was literally one-shotting everything--point with the laser, and voila! the object is visible in the eyepiece!

I was looking for a rechargeable green laser pointer to play with and didn't want to spend a lot, so I choose this one. I like that it uses an 18650 4200 mAh li-ion battery and has an included wall pluggable charger. There is a flat spot on the barrel that provides touch feel for the button location. The front cap turns to adjust the width of the beam. I had to play with the lockout switch to find the spot where it would allow the laser to turn on. The documentation states the output is 100mw which could be true if it's a Class IIIb emitter. The label on the device states
