I wanted a steamer that was small for 1-2 people. It arrived with a small dent but appears to not affect the cooking. The lid does not stay on as tight as I would like and there were no instructions to tell me what the 2 toggles mean. It is very inexpensive so you get what you pay for, but it does perform

Small but functional. Purchased to use on rainy, cook inside days, in my van and chosen for it's relatively low wattage. My only complaint is that the cord plugs into the handle, making it a bit tippy if it's not full.

The heating element gets very hot, very quickly. I would suggest not leaving it too long w/o checking on it. You could end up burning your food, even if you use the lower setting. Otherwise it works great.

Just used my Green Cosmos electric pot for the first time and I'm blown away! I purchased this pot because I am disabled and live at my coffee table. I needed a way to heat my food and soups, etc., without having to struggle to get to the microwave. This pot heats up fast and the food stays hot longer than food heated in the microwave, plus the outside stays cool, so I can hold it in my lap and eat right from the pot. Yes, I am in love with my new little friend. The only thing I could take issue with is without the lid on and if empty, the pot tilts back a little, but this is so minor a problem I really can't complain, I just wanted to let you know. Some reviewers of other cooking pots (not this one) said their pot stopped working after a few months. If that happens to this little jewel, I will just buy another. This is the one for me!
