It didn't find the leak and now we have a red pool with no way of clearing it up. I asked the manufacturer and they said sunlight and water movement. I think I bought a $34 bottle of Kool-aid. We drained 1/2 the pool and the sediment that causes the color stayed in the pool, but it's too fine for a robot to vacuum up. Real bad move!

Not sure what the other reviews are talking about, this product is easy to view in daylight and looks pretty cool. Works great, will update later on the removal process. My pool is about 10k gallons and I used two red solo cups worth of product instead of the entire gallon to track water flow and check for leaks.

This dye is fluorescent so it works best at night with a black light flashlight as it glows in the dark. Not harmful to pump or circulation. It soon dissipates after time.

This dye saved me so much time and money when trying to diagnose a leak with my AC drain line. It quickly showed me the source of the leak while making the repair quick and efficient while showing me little damage was done during the leak saving me hours of inspections. I may use it in the future in the Florida heat to make sure drain lines are cleared after vacuum and there are no other obstructions.

I wasn't sure how much I would need...Definitely not this size. A 5ml syringe was used to find 4 holes in pool liner on 18ft round pool. Only needed 2ml. Worked great to find holes & easy to see it sucked up or not. I got red. Only need small acts to put where there may be a hole, so doesn't change water color or stain pool.

Was very hard to see during the daytime unless you were close. Green is much better for that. But, it works well in the dark if you have a black light UV flashlight.
