This set is so freaking beautiful. The carvings and the gold paint make it look like its worth hundreds of dollars. I really love it. Its got a nice weight to the glasses but im scared to even use it theyre so beautiful. These will be locked away for a special occaision.

The edging of the gold isn't 100% classy straight lines.Could have had just a smidge more quality control or fine processing when laying the gold.Only noticeable upon close inspection, not terrible.Would buy again, they are a nice glass and pretty enough.We use these twice a week after dinner.

Update: After placing it to wash as we used it for an event inside dishwasher, there were fine thin line of cracks on the glasses. For safety reason we ended up throwing out the glasses.I ordered these on a whim because I do not drink. But I needed a nice glasses for serving dinner to guess. I came across these indected to order them. I am so glad that I did because they are of supreme quality. I like that. They are very well made and that the design is classic and done very well. These came packaged very, very well and arrived right on time. I'm so happy and will be ordering more in the future.

EDIT: The seller contacted me about the broken glasses and shipped another set. This time, 2 of the 6 glasses were broken. I added a star because the glasses are very high quality and beautiful. The seller was very attentive and polite and did what they could to fix the issues. I am leaving off one star because the packaging is just not adequate to protect the glasses in the shipping process.These brandy snifters are beautiful. The gold decoration around the top of the glass is very well done and gives them an old world look. They really are stunning. The glass is lightweight and feels wonderful in the hand. I could see myself sharing a warm brandy with my friends on a cold evening. However, the packaging for these glasses was not sufficient and three out of six arrived broken. The glasses were packed in a box with each glass in its individual compartment and that box was inside a more sturdy box that was packed tightly in a very large box with another product such that neither could shift inside. I'm not sure if a heavy box was dropped on top or if this one was tossed around, but the end result was heartbreaking.

I am a big fan of the Greek key design. I have it on a number of items at home. I also like to make Tiki cocktails at home, which sometimes call for a brandy snifter. The one I had was a little too big for my needs, so when I saw this set I knew I had to have it. It features two of my interests in one design.The Greek key, or meander, or a number of other alternative names, is part of several cultures, though widely recognized as Greek. One other place known for this design is Egypt, which seems like the inspiration for these gold-rimmed glasses.These snifters were perfect for my need. They were big enough to hold the cocktail, but small enough that it didn't look empty. They feel pretty durable. The product description says these are dishwasher safe, but I like them so much I don't want to risk it. We hand-washed these. You get a set of 6, which makes the cost per glass pretty low, considering the quality.I used this glass for a Lovely Lovely cocktail (pictured), which is a relatively unknown Tiki drink from Hawaii in the 1970s. It fit the glass perfectly. As In was enjoying the drink, I noticed the glass had frosted on the outside from the ice within. That was an extra nice touch and adds to the perception of durability.I looked at the other glasses in this line, and think that the brandy snifters are the most elegant. Some of the other stemware looks good too. I am really happy with the snifter, and look forward to using it again for a Lovely Lovely or any other great cocktails. Of course a good Cognac would be perfect in it too.
