I have not put this on my bed yet. As it was just delivered. The one star review is based on the fact that I would not call this an "egg carton foam". It's basically flat. Barely any "egg carton" shape to it at all. The last one I bought, was bought from a dollar store. And was way better made. Not sure it will make my mattress any more comfortable. Very disappointed.

The material does not meet my expectations. I anticipated it would be similar to the memory foam on my bed. However, it more closely resembles a hospital-grade egg crate material. It is slightly tougher and firmer than expected. The material does not conform to the body, but rather provides a firm, unyielding surface. I purchased a low-profile couch that is somewhat uncomfortable, hoping this material would provide additional cushioning and comfort on the bottom,but its a no go. I can use it on a air mattress or the floor for the grand children,hope they come back.if firm is what you want,then its for you.5 stars because it is a foam that won't tear easily.

I used this for a Halloween costume. It was decent weight and kept me warm. I am not sure on the sleeping quality though. The paints went on it easy and stayed. I had so many compliments on it. I will be using it for camping in my sleeping bag for warmth and sleeping comfort.

Bought this twin size one-inch topper for my daughter earlier this year and it offered enough support considering it’s only an inch thick and it has a lower price point. Got it again and the foam quality is not as good as before. It is a less dense foam so it has way too much give and does not bounce/push back at all. It’ll compact and you’d sink all the way down so it’s as if you don’t have the topper at all. Returning it.

We bought a new mattress. I needed it harder for my back injury. My wife was having pressure point issues. We bought this foam rubber extra thick mattress topper. She found it extremely comfortable, relieving her pressure point pain. The size was perfect, we measured her side of the bed. It was easy to cut it down for installation. So my size could stay firm for me. The thickness for the value of cost was tremendous. High quality of foam rubber.

It's soft and nice but way to thin. Definitely isn't 1" inch. More like 1/2"thick If that. If I knew just how thin it was I would have gotten a different one, but it's to late and will continue to use this.
