It's perfect for working on small areas. The body is some light alloy.

The plane is fine for small applications. Good weight and easy to manipulate.

The bed on which the blade sits is difficult to set-up/flatten properly. The blade (which does sharpens well) has excess chatter. The blunt shape of the blade holder edge causes the shavings to bunch up inside the opening verse eject them properly. This mini plane is not functional.

When I received the product, I was shocked by the size. It is very very very tiny and small piece of tool. I bought it for the my outdoor wooden furniture projects. And it only works in some very small area! You have to read the product description carefully before make the purchase.

Garbage product when try to plane the wood the peeled off wood stuff stick in the blade not allowing to continue work. You have to open clean it again and again poor quality design. Very small waste of money.

For it's size, you will be surprised what it can do. I ordered as I needed to finish project, boy was I shocked what this little item can do! Built to last a lifetime, made of good quality material and blade was sharp as can be. It enabled me to complete my project and deliver on time as promised. Would recommend to anyone that needs this little beast and will purchase again when the time arises. Would make a great gift for a loved one who enjoys woodworking.

It's not a $250 veritas, it's an inexpensive little tool that does what it's intended to. Don't expect to plane endgrain glassy smooth. I mostly use it to shave the tongue on laminate flooring and similar tasks, which it does admirably. Handy little tool to have around.Value for money, absolutely. Sheerness, don't even know what that means.

I needed this to trim a little off a door. Unfortunately, it's really dull and even after sharpening, twice, it dulled out in minutes. Also, expect some serious pain and bruising to your palm. This is cheaply made trash and completely unusable. I ended up resorting to a hammer and chisel... Have you ever trimmed a door with a hammer and chisel? It's not fun, and a whole lot more work. Just don't bother with this item.

Small planer, after preparing the planer i used it for trimming. U can put it in your pocket. The thickness of the blade is very thin so it is very fragile and the adjustment of the blade is very straight forward- one screw is holding the blade and it's also the reason that the adjustment ,of the blade, is not accurate.
