It ok for keeping the little one entertained for a while but graphics could have been a little bit better. Great for lil hands in size and works well. Battery life and sound is good as well,

This 32 bit Great Boy blue handheld game has 139 yes you heard that correct 139 different fun and exciting games on this tiny handheld device. This is way more than affordable and makes a great yet fun gift idea. Any one of any age would enjoy this. There’s sure to be a game on here for just about everyone. The blue color is beautiful and it so far seems to hold it’s charge remarkably well. Doesn’t take long to charge up either. The perfect thing to bring alone on road trips or even while flying. Doesn’t take up much space. The graphics on this are surprisingly very well done and seems to have awesome sound quality as well. The size and shape reminds me of the Game Boys that were all the rage in the 90’s but dare I say way more practical in-terms of affordability. No having to buy each game separately.

I know that these days there are way better gaming consoles out there with way better games, graphics, etc., but honestly, I love this thing.I was never allowed to have any kind of video games when I was growing up in the '90s, so this thing was like a gift to my inner child. And at the price (~$25 USD), it's a steal.I love that it's rechargeable, and it's a decent size, too. It's not too large and bulky, so smaller hands shouldn't have any trouble working the buttons and thumb joystick, but it's not so small that it's all cramped together. The buttons and thumb joystick are about what you'd expect for the price of the unit -- the calibration isn't exactly perfect, but, like I said, for the price, I wouldn't expect anything top-of-the-line.But I think they'll just take some getting used to, that way you can anticipate the movements a bit better.I love the variety of different games on here, too, and that they're divided up into different categories. They have some great knockoffs of things like Tetris and Pong, as well as others like bubble shooters and fruit-slicing and whatnot. I haven't even gotten to try them all out yet, there are so many! One thing that I really love about this, though, is that it's old-school. Not just in its appearance, but in that it doesn't need to be connected to the internet to work, you don't need to download anything at all, etc. It's just a lot of fun, perfectly contained within the device itself. That's especially important for kids, in my opinion. I certainly don't advocate for kids being attached to screens all the time (I'm really more anti-screen, honestly), but I'd feel comfortable with my 10-year-old playing with this device every now and then, like a few minutes after dinner as a treat for getting his homework done or something. At least with this thing, there's no concern about the connection to the internet and all of the dangers lurking therein. And these days, I feel like finding any sort of screen with that disconnected feature is incredibly difficult, so this is a big win. It's a perfect compromise of some screen time, but in a safe and contained way.I'd definitely recommend this, whether you're an adult who just likes the occasional old-school gaming, or if you've got a kid who enjoys gaming but doesn't need to be hooked up to the internet. It's a really fun little device.

Got this to give to the 8 year old and 6 year old to play with to stop the demands to use someone's cell phone to play games as sometimes they are not very careful with the cell phones. The two of them are happy with the games that are on them and found this playable with minimal (6year old) and no (8 year old) adult explanation. They end up fighting over it on occasion so I might have to get a second one (which tells you it was a success and they like it LOL). It has cut way down on denied requests to use someone's cell phone (except when the two of them want to use it at the same time). Rechargeable battery life is reasonable. Not sure how long it will hold up as the case is plastic and these kids are experts at breaking cell phone screens due to dropping them (so aren't allowed to touch them now), but so far so good. The small screen doesn't seem to bother either of them. Not the highest end but then again neither is the price. Plenty of different games to keep them occupied so they don't get bored with it.

My neighbor's little boy just turned five this month and we thought it would be nice to order this for him for a gift on the day of his birthday we walked over and presented it to his mom to give to him after the cake was served this little game is absolutely amazing it was the perfect gift for our neighbor's son when I was little the game boys were three times to four times the cost in black and white and were absolutely horrible to play with and difficult to see this game is absolutely amazing it's easy to use intuitive functions color screen ergonomic design for little hands has a treasure trove of games where the ones I grew up with had one this has a treasure trove of 139 to be exact not only is it lightweight and extremely functional it charges and recharges with a simple USB port cable it can be charged in the car at home and even off a battery pack my neighbor says her son plays with it for hours she has to take it away from them in fear that he might damage his eyes for us it was a great at a super value for the little boy it was a gift he will always remember and for his mom it was a quiet time that she could have to herself whoever would have thought that a little game for $30 would make so many people so happy it's also light as a feather and comes in multiple colors and easily fixing his backpack when they go traveling to the store or just out doing errands she says that they even take it in the supermarket where he would get bored and fidgety he can now sit in the car and keep himself occupied with his game boy this is definitely something we could wholeheartedly recommend to anybody with small children who enjoy a good video game it appears to be well made well thought out ergonomically correct for little hands color screen multiple games and a very low cost.
