The radio just arrived yesterday. Good speaker and volume. Pulls in twice as many stations as my older radio. It holds the station that you set so I am not constantly adjusting the station knob. Has a time function so it can also serve as a clock. The earplugs are basic but they work. Overall, I am very pleased. I cannot speak to longevity but I would guess that it will last several years.

I got this radio for my mom, whom I'm the caregiver for. She hates TV and lives the talk radio stations. The other radio she had was nothing but static and hard to tube. This is a great size, lightweight and small footprint. It's so easy to tune and read. There is no static and the voices come in loud and clear, not funny or mumbled like her last radio. It's a simple design which is perfect for my elderly mom, few buttons and dials. It took her just a minute to figure it out. This is my 4th try at finding the perfect radio. I sent 3 back but this one is a keeper. Quality, built to last and easy operation, clear and loud.

As advertised!! Purchased for my senior disabled veteran friend. He loves it! The round dials are large and easy to manage. Has jack for headphones, runs on batteries so portable as well as plug in the wall. Excellent value for the money! Highly recommend!

This is a larger size portable AM/FM radio. It is simple and easy to use with a large speaker and a large LCD digital display of the frequency. The reception is great. It has a long telescoping antenna. It also displays the time, which is very easy to set. I first purchased another portable radio that was advertised as having good reception but all but a few of the FM stations were weak with popping and it pulled in no AM stations. This radio in the same location pulls in a great many clear FM stations and many AM stations. It also has great volume. Highly recommended.

Nice design.Controls are easyto see and manipulate. Sound is deep and plenty loud for smaller rooms. FM comes In the best, easily picks up Syracuse and Utica, 50 miles away, loud and clear. AM not as strong.I have not tried SW. I wanted to access a good PBS station and I got it. I also sometimes hit a late night station playing old time radio shows which 'are always a hoot. For the low price and good quality, you cantbeat this little radio

Bought this in case of a power outage, guess what? We had one, two days and nights. This radio is great. Sound is very good and tuning using display is far easier and more accurate than just twisting the knob.

I bought the Greadio radio for my kitchen, replacing a ten-year-old portable which cost three times as much but which finally died. I can't comment on Greadio battery life because I plug it directly into a wall outlet, using the supplied AC cord. I do keep batteries it it in case of a power outage, and for this review I am running it on batteries ... it provides decent volume but at max the speaker can be distorted.I live in suburban Boston MA where there are many FM stations. The Greadio has a digital tuner that often cannot focus on a weaker station if there is an adjacent one with a stronger signal. Sound quality is lacking in deep bass response (jazz, funk) but probably acceptable to most listeners. The deep bass response does not improve when listening through headphones of ear buds (not provided).Overall build quality of the case is precise and solid in appearance.
