These gravy boats are perfect for any kind of gravy, sauces or dressings. Made well. A good weight. Not heavy when full with sauces. It’s nice they come in two. One for each side of the table.

I've a lifetime of experience with terrible gravy boats. Whether it was my mom's that we're badly balanced or my grandma's that dribbled or my aunt's that tended to spill off the edges when you tried to pour or my neighbor's that has the sauce awkwardly and permanently attached, I hated every gravy boat! So I've always just served gravy from small glass pitchers. But now that my kids are older and I'm hosting a lot of meals for my extended family, I was looking to have a more traditional table and I've been upgrading my dishes, decor, etc. These gravy boats are so well designed!--They are larger in the belly so they hold a good amount of gravy but then get more narrow towards the top so they don't spill when you try to pour the gravy. But they are open enough to still get clean in the dishwasher.--They are nicely balanced so you can actually pick them up by the handle and with a reasonable amount of effort not have it tip at the front.--The handle is large enough for a normal sized hand so you're not stuck trying to squeeze a finger or two in. But it still looks fancy and not clunky.--The pour spout is higher than the sides so when you tip it to pour, the gravy doesn't come out the sides, there's plenty of room in the spout to hold all the gravy coming forward.--The saucer is separate and actually the right size and shape for the boat.I was going to get the set of two and give one to my sister but I'm keeping both to have one at each end of my table. If she likes them when she comes over, I'll get her a set of her own. :)

My wife and I have been experimenting with some new recipes lately, and it seems like quite a few of them require making some kind of sauce or cream to go over the food. We normally would just pour that into a small bowl and use a spoon to ladle it over the food. I thought using a proper gravy bowl would be nicer. When I came across this one, it seemed to fit exactly what I was looking for. This works beautifully for what we need. We have already used it a couple of times with some of the meals we have made, and it makes it much easier for everyone to pour the sauce on their food without making a mess. It’s nice that it comes with its own plate so that any stray drips are caught and don’t land on the tablecloth. I wish we would have thought of getting one of these sooner. It came with two of them, so we ended up giving my mother-in-law the second one. She absolutely loves hers as well. We love it and highly recommend it.

Perfect!!! These are perfect for my big table to have one on each end. They are white, so they will go with any dish pattern. These will work on a formal or informal table. They are sturdy and the dish that comes with them is a bonus. These are a YES!!!!

This set of two gravy boats comes with four pieces, two plates and two boats. I’ve been serving my Thanksgiving gravy out of measuring cups so I thought it was time to get a couple as they look nicer on the table. And I always put two on the table, one at each end. These are very nice quality with zero flaws in the ceramic. If you have white dishes these are perfect. They came well packaged In styrofoam and the bowls were taped to the plates.

These gravy/sauce boats are a nice size and they hold a lot. They are attractive, but very plain. Which is fine, as my everyday dishes are also plain white, and they won't clash with my fine china when I use that. They go through the dishwasher just fine, and I was please to see that when you replace the boat on the saucer correctly (in the center) the lip of the boat stays over the saucer, so any drips won't fall onto your table or tablecloth. They seem durable, are attractive, but for the money seem a bit on the pricey side. $20 instead of $30 seems like a more reasonable price to me. But they are nice, and I will get a lot of use out of them going forward.

I am very pleased with these gravy boats. They look lovely and are wonderful to use when hosting. I appreciate that the boats are a bit larger than standard size, making thanksgiving and hosting large crowds nice when I don't run out of gravy quickly.

We eat all our meals at the same small table in the middle of our kitchen every week. I suppose we could sit at our dining room table since we have one, but really...who does that anymore? But we still love our Sunday dinner which we try to elevate to end/begin the old/new week with something to give us a sense of something special. So we whip out the table cloth and a serving platter and try to make a tradition of our roast chicken with potatoes, a vegetable and a pan gravy (which I ultimately learned is energy intensive [stirring], but otherwise not difficult). These gravy boats are much better than my cereal bowl (which matches the plates) and a white soup spoon (a la most Chinese restaurants). So for the aesthetic alone, these two gravy boats with plates fill the bill, but they also pour the gravy in a much more clean and articulated way. So it's a big thumbs up for me for these things that would also work at a large dinner to have one on both sides of that table we never use for dining.
