I got this for my mid-drive electric bike conversion. After two winters in upstate New York, with a lot of salt and snow exposure, the original steel frame was covered in rust so I decided to swap it with an aluminum one. I went with the 15 inch version because I'm 5'3" with short legs and I wanted to fit a suspension seat post on my bike. This is a good, solid frame for the price and so far it appears to be well made. It arrived in a big box with plenty of padding so it was in excellent condition with no dents or scratches. The mounting tabs for the brake calipers and derailleur aligned perfectly (that was a problem on my old frame) so my bike brakes and shifts like a dream now. My bike shed 10lbs after the frame swap and is easier to carry around. Although aluminum frames are known for their poor shock absorption, I didn't notice much of a difference between this one and my old steel frame. My bike sails right over rough terrain and is still a smooth, comfortable ride. I guess having a good suspension fork, seat post and wide tires makes a difference. My triangle battery was able to fit into the frame but be warned that it was a VERY tight fit and required some modification of the case (removing the strap anchor bumpouts).
