Used on a Taylor 410-CE has to sand it down to fit. It was a little too think, and it raised the low E about a millimeter which got rid of some fret buzz. Sanding is very easy, but make sure you have some sand paper to shake to fit. I can’t tell a huge difference in tone, I believe the Taylor’s use Tusq already which makes sense.

EXACT MATCH for Taylor GS Mini Saddle! Old one slid right out and Tusq one slid right in. Compared them next to each other and they are IDENTICAL! Sound improvements are subtle, but definitive!! Increased highs, lows, and sustain! Definitely suggest if you have a GS mini, and probably would work on most normal Taylor’s! Will pick one up for my 410CE-LTD next!!

Excellent product. The Tusq saddles are proven in the industry, and can be found on many mid to high level guitars. This fit perfectly in my Taylor guitar. Only needed sanded to correct height (which is normal... customize to preference).

Noticable improvement in tone and sustain and volume. Subtle and beautiful results! Very pleased. Highs brighter, lows richer.Used on my Larrivee D-02 with surprizingly no adjustments needed. I my choose to do some sanding to lower the 5th and 6th string but I doubt it.Word of warning- 1st string is quite low. I would have preferred it be a bit higher so I could have the choice of sanding it down a bit.My results were with replacing saddle and pins at the same time with Tusq.

Perfect replacement for my Taylor 610. I wanted to lower the action but didn't want to risk the original part. A bit of 210 sand paper and I couldn't be happier. The quality of this bridge is a decent step up from what came in my 2009 Taylor 610 as well. I got it in my head to do the same to my Martin backbacker but this bridge is too narrow for that guitar. Still I'm thinking to buy another just to have on hand in my spare parts bin.

This nut is pretty much an exact replacement saddle for the original Taylor bridge saddle that came with my Taylor 312ce. And I assume that it is probably the same saddle as used on most of Taylor's other acoustic models. No complaints her does the job well!

I plunk around on old used guitars I find in pawn shops, flea markets, and yard sales. Sometimes junk and sometimes pretty good units at reasonable prices. Most can be improved by a good set-up. If they happen to have a cheap plastic saddle you can replace it with a TUSQ Saddle like this item. This can be used to upgrade the guitar's tone be coupling more of the string vibrations to the guitar's top.It also comes in handy in replacing a saddle that you may have ground too far in setting the action lower. It's always good to have a backup plan when you're doing a set-up in case of a goof.
