It is small so it fits anywhere without cluttering the kitchen cabinets. Pours sugar nicely. I am very happy with it.

I needed a salt holder and this works just fine. I know it is for sugar but I do what I want! Great style, easy to use, holds up well for cooking.

The jar is nice. The lid is the thinnest aluminum and actually arrived dented. Anything but the softest touch would dent the lid. Mixed feelings. I'll keep looking for a nicer lid

The lid got bent from the bubble wrap packaging and tape. That’s how thin the metal top is. The flapper didn’t work when I got it so I had to bend it back into shape to make it function. Not like the restaurant’s at all.

I like the look of the dispenser. It has a nice vintage look and works great! Plus I love that it hold 14 oz of sugar.

The flapper on the lid is not heavy enough to flip open on it's own when the dispenser is used. It uses the weight of the flowing sugar to open, so a couple of grains of sugar and some humidity can make it stick shut easily enough. Not like the sugar dispensers in the coffee shops that I remember from my childhood. They definitely have a heavier flapper on the lid. It works though, and it holds and dispenses sugar. I like the size and the overall visual design. Made in China like everything these days unfortunately.
