ok so this is not real wood chipboard. it is a 1-2mm thick cardboard but it is exactly what i needed as i was searching for a thick card but could not find it. it is sturdy but still flexible. only downside is the sides look like they were cut roughly so there is bits that come off them and also the white is only one sided but does not effect my project.

I have ordered these white cardboard sheets a few times. I use them to create clues for our Escape Room for camp. They are great! You can cut them with heavy duty scissors but they are strong enough to hold up.When I use them for clues I cut them into different shapes and write on them. They are handled by up to 100 kids per week and are sturdy enough to last multiple weeks.

I am very happy with the board except for the fact that it is white on one side only. I did not see that fact in any of the product descriptions and I would prefer white on both sides for my projects.

Good heavyweight cardboard. The description is exact. It is too thin to use as book boards for binding but is excellent for model making, note pad backing and anywhere else you need a stiff backing.

I ordered the WHITE chipboard and found their sturdiness to be just perfect for my needs. I generally use them for adding rigid covers to paperback journals & sketchbooks. I should add however: the white is not solid white but a printed white, and only on one side. The back side remains the colour of brown chipboard. I wish they are white on both sides but they meet my specific needs even if they're not ideal.

El gramaje es bueno, lo utilizaré para hacer libretas! Aunque no es súper grueso se siente firme y el precio es bueno.

Good quality, arrived in great shape with no dents or bends. I needed some inexpensive board to make covers for manuals I've printed out because just having paper covers makes them flimsy, hard to keep upright on a bookshelf, and the pages tear out easily. The 2 I've bound using chipboard covers are much nicer to deal with.I can't really think of any cons. It's chipboard. It's solving my problem.

This is super high quality chipboard. It's much thicker than it's brown cardboard-colored brother chipboard from Grafix. I know this because I purchased it to use in my Cricut Explore Air. The cardboard-colored chipboard was able to be cut in the Cricut with the highest pressure setting and a deep cut blade. With this chipboard, it didn't work out. It just didn't cut all the way through. I also used the heavy stick mat and it started to peel a layer of cardboard off the back of this chipboard. I tried doing multiple pass cuts as well and still no luck. I don't blame the product for this, I just want to let everyone know not to buy it for this purpose. What I do think I will try with it, is cutting it in "fold lines" for a box and bending on those cuts to make pretty, custom boxes with the Cricut. I also wanted to mention that embossing ink soaks right into this chipboard, so don't expect to emboss on it either - it just doesn't work out. I added some pictures to show you how my cuts ended up. The ones with the stars actually cut out were done to finality with an Exacto knife, but they're still not clean cuts. There are also small "perforation" dots on the white side of the chipboard. I didn't notice them until I just uploaded these pictures. They don't bother me, but I thought others might want to know they're there! They're very shallow.

We needed a garage for our third car, so of course I turned to Amazon and bought the Grafix 8.5x11" White Chipboard Sheets. They worked perfectly for my needs and now my car is fully protected. Unless a stiff breeze comes along and blows the garage away, but I don't think that will happen. Thank you, Grafix! My one-stop shopping for garage-building chipboard.

Chipboard is great stuff - heavier than cardstock, lighter than cardboard. It comes in two varieties, natural (a greyish-brown, mottled finish) and white; neither can be printed, but the white finish takes pen or marker better, and doesn't soak up water as easily. I like to use it to protect documents or photos in mailing envelopes, but you'll also find it useful in the back of photo frames, as packing material for small parts, and even as anti-rattle battery-case inserts. For some reason, office and art-supply stores in my area (Chicago) have all but stopped carrying chipboard (in either finish), so I was happy to find it available on Amazon.
