My son found our shrinky dick machine from the 1990s and these were great to make shrinky dinks with. The durability and design was a great size for my son to create his masterpieces. The paper thickness was exactly what the shrinky dink machine recommended. It works well with the 1990s shrinky dink machine.

These were recommended for making stencils on a Cricut. I usually use the Cricut branded ones but needed something I could use more than once. They were perfect for my project but a little pricey. I also wish they came in a 12x24 option.

I had seen where people were using this in their Silhouette Cameos to cut out stencils. I have had the hardest time trying to get them to cut...HERE'S WHY? I'd been using the blade that has been in my machine for about three years. I don't do a lot of cutting, that's going to change now because I've started making cards.YOU MUST HAVE A NICE SHARP BLADE, PREFERABLY A NEW ONE!I didn't realize how dull my blade was, but I had an unused one so I changed to a new blade and VOILA! it cut right through...in fact I cut a hole in my mat. I was just cutting a 1/4" square to see if I could make it through and I still had my blade set at 10, so it cut through the plastic and the mat. I changed the blade depth to 5 and it cut almost all the way around a design, but a few spots didn't cut and made getting the stencil out a little difficult. This is rather thin plastic and a little on the fragile side, so you want the blade to do all the work and not have to bend or damage the plastic manually. I changed the multi-pass to 3 times and it worked like a charm. Pulled up the plastic sheet and the stencil stayed on the mat, one piece and was easy to remove with the metal spatula.Since I'm going to be making 6" x 6" stencils each sheet of this plastic will give me 4 for a total of 100 stencils out of the 25 sheets...a bargain!I've included the cut settings below for those that want them. REMEMBER! NICE SHARP BLADE, PREFERABLY NEW!Silhouette Cameo 2 - Cutting SettingsGrafix Clear Craft Plastic .007 ThicknessBlade - 5Speed - 4Pressure - 33Multi-Cut - 3 passes

This product is very good for laminating letter sized documents. It can also be used to laminate two or three smaller pieces in the same sheet. Be aware, DO NOT cut the sheets prior to sealing with the laminating machine, you may cur the sheet too small for a proper seal. Always cut the laminating sheets After they have been sealed.

Super nice sheets of plastic. They're not advertised as laser cutter compatible, but I tested them and they are! I did the "chlorine test" with these, melting some onto some copper, and then putting the copper into a flame. It did not burn green! So it is safe to use with laser cutters! So I made a stencil on my laser cutter, using the engrave setting to burn lots of tiny dots (like a wire mesh), and the plastic mostly did well, but got a little melty, had some warping in areas that have a lot of engrave heat on them, so be sure to hold down the edges of your piece before lasering!Grafix recommends their "Dura-Lar Film" for laser cutting, so I think for this Clear Craft Plastic, using laser cutter is maybe "off use" - if I had to guess, maybe because of the warping. Giving this 5 stars because it's great plastic, for most people. For laser, I'll give it 3 stars because of the warping, but that could be my settings and inexperience. :)

This is excellent stencil material. My brother-in-law and my nephew asked me to make a series of stencils for them to paint their boats in camouflage. I cut 16 full sheet stencils (2 copies each of 4 different designs for each of their boats). I use the Silhouette Cameo. This was my first time cutting stencils, but other than a little trial and error to discover the cut settings, I had no problems. If you're wondering, I used the Cameo's highest settings, both for blade depth and material thickness, and I used the cutting mat. As other reviewers have indicated, this material does dull your blades fairly quickly. I used a brand new blade when I started the project, and by the last two sheets, I found myself needing to replace it again as some of the cuts weren't going through. So, if you're using a Silhouette, definitely purchase a new blade specifically for your stencil project and if you're making a LOT of stencils, you may need more than one. I don't have a lot of luck with sharpening blades, but YMMV. My brother-in-law and nephew were VERY happy with their stencils, and I must say, their boats look very professional! I highly recommend this material as it's a great thickness for cutting stencils.

I purchased these not knowing what I was going to get. I had been looking for thin clear sheets to create foregrounds in a deep shadowbox. Plexiglas was an option, but it was too thick and far too expensive. And the only places that would sell it never had a guy available to cut the dang thing. So I searched on here for something that could solve my problem while staying in budget. Upon ordering, I had worried about the product having faulty cuts and having to correct them myself, but it was for nothing. These were cut perfectly to size. And even if it had been cut wrong, the plastic was easily thin enough to trim with scissors. The sheets were 100% clear and clean from scratches. My project came out wonderful and I still have a few sheets left over to use in the future. I'll definitelyorder these again should any project require it.I'd highly recommend this for crafting and scrapbooking, Great quality, great price, great product.
