This Graco 3 drawer chest with a changing table topper is honestly perfect. While this is for nurseries, it can also be helpful if you have a short amount of space underneath your hanging clothes like seen in my photo above! Only one drawer opens at a time as a safety measure, so keep that in mind that you will get the drawers stuck if you try to open too many at once. The topper for the changing part is optional and you can pop it on top or take it off when your child gets older. It's also a helpful future investment as we're planning on having children in the next few years so for now it's storage for my things, but we can simply add the topper when we're ready to convert it to a changing table.

The damage depicted in the photos I attached simply occurred from assembling the dresser. I followed instructions, was careful, manipulated the item exactly according to the instructions and damage occurred in several places. I had to amend with wood glue where the material sheared off - but other points were completely made non-functional - like the vertical door on the front; the swing bolts that it connects to broke through the bottom connection-point on the door and rendered it non-functional. I am currently using the dresser, with it's many faults, with the non-functional front door not installed (otherwise I would have asked for a full refund). This item is heavily overpriced for the quality of the material - I recommend buying an actual piece of furniture - this is worse than Ikea.

After putting the dresser together we discover that the drawer tracks on the center piece (which came pre-installed) were positioned too far forward on the left side, meaning the drawers in that side would not go in all the way. We contacted Graco about a replacement part, only to be directed to Storkcraft who actually manufactures this dresser. After going through the process of submitting a bunch of information and photos, we were told we would be receiving a replacement piece and to wait for an email with tracking info once it had shipped. After waiting a week with no email, we contacted them again and were told this model is no longer being manufactured and they do not have any replacement parts available. They told us to contact the retailer we bought it from and see if they would do anything. Amazon said we would have to disassemble the whole thing and send it back to receive a new dresser. They arranged to have it picked up, but said if we missed the ONE attempt to pick it up we would have to take it to UPS ourselves. They did not call to let us know they were coming so we missed the pick up and now have to haul it to UPS ourselves.

Took my husband about 2 hours to put together, the instructions are a little jumbled together they tend to jump to a million steps all at once after one easy step, but he got it put together without any tools needed and once together it was sturdy and pretty

Overall, this is a very cute dresser for a nursery.Pros; visually looks like great quality, super cute, good size.Cons: the directions were literally like ikea directions with no words, just pictures, and some of the pictures were confusing to understand. Took two of us about 3 hrs to put the whole thing together.The drawers itself don’t have a soft close so it’s a little dinky/ loud sounding when you open/ close the drawer BUT it’s also a great price so we get what we pay for with that.Overall, I think it’s worth it, just have someone really handy with wordless directions to help put it together.
