The Grace Self Adhering Ice and Water Shield HT is a high temperature self-adhered underlayment made for premium protection against severe climatic conditions such as wind, rain and the build up of ice dams. This Ice and Water Shield is made up of two waterproofing materials including a rubberized asphalt adhesive and a polymeric film with UV barrier properties that allows it to withstand high temperature applications up to 260 degrees Fahrenheit. It is recommended to be used under most roofing materials specifically metal or in high temperature areas due to its high temperature resistance. Grace Ice & Water Shield HT has a quick foldless release paper, will not crack or dry out and is slip-resistant.

Product is great, however, Modern Builders sent me old stock that had absolutely zero adhesion, and docks you shipping fees and 20% return fee for a probelem that was their fault! Never again will I buy from this vendor.

This is a great quality product and one that works well for a steel roof. I was unable to obtain this from my local stores in a timely fashion. This arrived in 2 days and I could continue my project without issue.

This stuff is only rated to survive the elements for 120 days, max, but I'm well past the 10 month mark and it's going strong. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend for any serious roofing project.

Omg, I’m in Florida after the hurricane. I don’t recommend going up there and placing this product on the roof in the middle of a hot summer day. It is STICKY and if it flips over on itself, that’s it. No getting it apart. - So, I continued with my project at coolest times of day - morning before Sun and evening after Sun was done beating.WOW- Nothing is going to get through this roofing repair! - And I’m 63 yr old woman. Ha! Take that rip-off roofers.

The adhesion of this product is mind blowing. You have to be super careful when you remove the backing that you do not let it touch anything- it instantly bonds. The quality is excellent- I highly recommend this product, and for you to have a couple of people help you with the installation.
