These Govee strip lights are magnificent. I was totally amazed by the quality this product, in every way. First off the light strips come in very premium packaging. Think Beats Headphones but even nicer. Hardened cardboard round boxes with a subtle smooth texture coating applied to them. Everything inside with slotted decorative little boxes and even two very nice silicone straps holding the light strip spooled, instead of cheap twist or zip ties. Gorgeous presentation. Once unboxed, the physical material quality becomes immediately apparent. The adhesive backing is some sort of high quality gel glue that an be re-positioned for several minutes on unpainted surfaces. The diffusing cover is a soft and smooth, flexible, high quality silicone feeling material, not cheap plastic. All cables are smooth and rounded tangle-free, no cheap thin wires. You get a two-piece power setup that permits a lot of wire-routing customization (the AC adapter and control box are separate pieces with their own cables, that then plug together.) Even the little in-line control box is designed to look good, with a clear plastic glass-look covering. Legitimate 3M adhesive backing is used on both the control box and some little included wiring tie down brackets.As for the actual performance of the LEDs, I must say these are simply the finest quality-for-money on the market today. They look stunning, are bright enough to be effective work lighting when turned to plain white and produce a tremendous gradient of colors. They are also sharp and responsive. You can customize them endlessly using the Govee app as well. Usually I dislike proprietary apps but the Govee one is neither buggy nor obtuse to operate. And the included inline control box allows basic functionality without finding your cell phone, which to me is an absolute must and I love to see that. Having seen the capabilities of these modern Govee LED strips, I can say without hyperbole that Govee is the best (maybe only) direct competitor to the OG (and frankly outrageously overpriced) Phillips Hue products. Nothing I've seen from Phillips looks better or brighter than these. Seriously these modern "RGBIC" strips from Govee are NOT a cheap alternative. They are a full-peer competitor at a better value for money price.Lastly I want to point out that Govee's customer service is stellar. Prior to purchasing these lights, I had contacted them about a possible replacement remote controller for a 3 years old set of more basic LED strip lights. While the product in question was no longer produced, no longer in warranty and frankly pretty obsolete, they still offered me a lovely discount on my next purchase with them. They had no obligation to do so and I really appreciated that. Good company, good people to do business with.If you're looking for best in class modern LEDs, I strongly recommend you give these a try. I assume there may be some technical limitation on overall length, as the longest size currently available is 16 ft. I hope some day soon they are offered in full 60 or 100 ft lengths can seamlessly cover an entire room's perimeter. If and when they do, I'll be replacing/upgrading all of the older LED strip lights in my house completely with them.

Love Govee. I recently began my journey with accent lighting and have purchased many Govee light products. My initial entry was to set holiday lighting that I did not have to put up and take down for the outside of my house. I have since moved inside with the lighting and by far the easiest to put and have a full spectrum of lights are these cobs. Many of my projects are the M1 lights which were my go to until I purchased the cob light set. They are easy to install and no additional track and diffuser . Costs a bit more but so worth it. I hope they will extend these from the 16 ft to 32. The warm white is true and all the colors of the rainbow are available with Govee software you can change the look everyday.

These are awesome looking lights – when you first power them up they do a cool color wave pattern that really shows off how smooth and well-diffused the 1000+ LED lights are. Unfortunately I just couldn't get Matter to work and that's a dealbreaker for me. I followed the instructions and tried every troubleshooting suggestion I could find, but I couldn't get it connected to Apple Home or Home Assistant, but they connect to the Govee app just fine. So if you don't care about smarthome integration and are fine with controlling them through the Govee app then you'll probably love these, but otherwise your mileage may vary.

Installed this in our kitchen island bar. Works great and is easy to setup. Added to our Google Home system which controls it perfectly. The Govee app for Android works great to change the colors and other things. The light strip gets a little warm but considering how many individual LED chips are in, 1260, it I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

The brightness on these things are amazing and the size and quality is incredible and it’s really easy to install because although I got them for the back of my pegboard it came it really well and the functionality is great.

At 72 watts at full brightness, this light is insanely bright. Lot of reviews say the app to use it is awful. I found it to be very simple and easy to navigate. Just an overwhelming amount of options. Can be used with a light switch, which is my intention of using it for a switched outdoor kitchen light.After buying this one, I will be buying one for the gazebo as well, and possibly garage. Worth the expensive price.

The LED strip itself is great, I have no problems with it and it looks amazing. However, it only includes two little brackets to help secure it on something like a wall that are almost useless. It’d be much better off if I had multiple brackets or sticky tape with it to ensure adequate attachment to any surface.

Nice product from Govee. Very very bright even on the lowest setting. Used it as a corner light in my bedroom. Very smooth transitions

Brighter and more functionally versatile than most strips. Any color you can imagine. Has that wow factor! Good quality. Good value for money, especially when on sale.

This is another excellent product from Govee. I have to say that any photos or videos you see about this product until you see it functional yourself. So many modes and modifications can be made to your choice. Easy to setup. I give 5/5.

Overall this is a very, very nice lightstrip. The quality is top notch, it's Matter compatible, and it's very bright overall.My one gripe is that the blue LED's are closer to a sky blue than the really deep, almost ultraviolet blue that you get with Philips Hue lightstrips. Most people wouldn't even notice but 95% of the lights in my place are Philips Hue and after 12+ years with them, I've grown accustomed to the super deep blue when you want it. You'll notice this if have any florescent colors with the blue LED's turned on. They glow like they are under a blacklight with Philips Hue whereas these barely give you the effect as the Govee blue doesn't go as far into the ultraviolet spectrum.

Govee just keeps getting better & better!very bright, amazing color, good adhesive !
