These are nicely made and a great value. As I don't use the oscilloscope frequently I couldn't justify the big name lead set, but I think these may be very close in usability, with great adaptability.

For the price, you will be hard pressed to find a better silicone lead. Perfect for my application and replacement for the cheap leads than came with my 117c.

While everything worked, and the probes have low internal resistance when I measure them, the cables themselves are just too short to be useful. I thought I could deal with it, and it's too late for me to return them, so I'll use them. But it forces you to keep the meter very close to your workpiece. Because the wires are detachable from the probes, and the wire ends have a hard connector that's about 2 in long, when you plugged everything together the probe plus the wire plugged into it makes it very long. This can make it difficult to get into tight spaces. Overall I find their use a little clumsy because of the short cord and the long probe length. You do get a nice assortment of tip attachments. The needle probes do seem to have a gold colored plating but after using them to probe into wires quite a bit, I'm noticing the gold is starting to wear off at the very tip. The probe wires do seem to be silicone or at least something that behaves like silicone which is a big plus. I haven't tested to see if they're easy to burn like vinyl coated wire so I'm just going by looks. I probably won't buy these again but they do work in a pinch provided you have a workspace where you can put your meter very close to whatever it is you're working on.

You get a lot for your buck here. I needed the SMD test clips and needle test probe tips for SMD work. The set is worth those two things alone. Getting tweezers and alligator clips is a great bonus. The main probes work perfect in meter and in my DC power supply. The only complaint there are no wrench slots on the tips to tighten them down. I use small smooth surface pliers with no issue though, so I don't think its a big deal. I thought I would not like the way most of the accessories connected to the probes, but that makes it very easy to switch out. Especially when you''re using a bench meter or power supply. The quality is not the greatest, but it's pretty good. I can see these lasting a very long time for me, as I will only use them for electronics repair and circuit design testing in a controlled environment.

Estas puntas salen buenas y tienen una selección de accesorios adecuada para la mayoría de necesidades.Lo único que no me gustó (y es algo minúsculo y de gusto personal) es que para colocar los caimanes hay que poner primero los plugs banana para que sobre ellos se coloquen los caimanes. Esto hace que las puntas queden enormes y bastante incómodas. Sería mucho mejor que tuvieran la misma rosca que las puntas normales (de aguja) para colocarlas directamente. Pero es una opinión personal. El funcionamiento es muy bueno.Las puntas de aguja son excelentes para perforar el aislante y casi no dejan marca al retirarlas PERO hay que tener mucho cuidado al manipularlas porque tienen suficiente filo para lastimar fácilmente si no se operan con el debido cuidado. Seguridad ante todo.Recomendables al 100%
